Thats just flat out not true. The Americans have 300 MILLION people and we are still better than them. Canada is just good hockey.

I really want the Slovaks to get in there. . . I think they would have lost to Canada. . . yes I'm Canadian, but that's also the reason I them to win, they were THE MOST exciting team there. When you believe. . . anything can happen. These boys showed a lot of heart. They deserved at least Bronze there. Good job.

population in slovakia is 5,5 milions people... in canada 33,5 milions, the reason why R U so good, with all respect, is coz you have enough players to choose from

No, the thing is, if USA would have just 5,5 milions people, they would probably play in C-group . Canada is the best, no doubt, but it´s also because they have so many registered players, much bigger chance to find some super-talents every year...!!!

You also have to consider the percentage of the population who plays hockey though. Canada has a very high percent of the population who plays hockey, other countries don't have that. Just my two cents there.
