@gone911helloWRX Transverse composite leaf springs are more advanced and far lighter than coil springs. On the C6 they even work to as both a spring and anti-roll bar. Unfortunately they are more expensive and harder to 'get right' than the tried and true coil spring design. I guess that 'typical American handling' is why the 09 ZR1 laps the nurburgring faster than many Italian and German supercars. Get with the times. The Corvette's design has nothing to do with this asshat driving badly.
