  • Great tank!! I just started building my aquascape cant wait till it's done!! Look at the video of my dog everyone!!!

  • How did you bring out the red? it's beautiful.

  • CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DO THIS?????? I would like to go in to this i have a 20gal and a 30 gal they've been set up for 2 years got ride of most fish just cause i want to try this and then buy DISCUS ; )

  • @AM451 It takes patience and the willingness to learn. I suggest visiting planted aquarium forums like aquatic plant enthusiasts, aquatic plant central, or planted tanks.

  • @AquaScapistVideos how do u do this w/o dirt is the question

  • @AM451 if u get discus u need at least 55 gallon because discus are schooling fish and u need at least 5

  • @AM451 u need 1 55 gallon for discus because you have eto buy at least 5 and 10 g each and u HAVE to keep them together because theya are schooling fish so will die if kept alone unless they are a breeding pair

  • Wow how did you get them to grow without algae growing on the bottom lol

  • @AK47AJ46 I don't know really, haha.

  • Plenty of lesser seen species in there, growing beautifully next to common varieties. Good stuff.

  • @GroinStabbingPro Thank you!

  • @AquaScapistVideos Is that "Poaceae sp. ‘Purple Bamboo’" at 0:20 behind the h.pinnatafida? Also where are you located? I will subscribe, be great if you could too. Thanks.

  • Awesome video and awesome tank!! I have some questions. What are your water parameters and what do you use to dose nutrients? And would you recommend using RO/DI water when setting up a planted tank? thanks...:)

  • @zaiderf Thank you, honestly I haven't tested my water in years. For this tank specifically, I dose 3/4 tsp of KNO3, 1/8 tsp of KH2PO4, and 1/2 tsp of K2SO4 3 times a week and keep my CO2 around 20ppm. I've never setup a new tank with RO/DI water before, just straight tap water.

  • I love those rams =) tank looks amazing. I love all the healthy looking plants

  • @MKoaquariums Thank you! Rams are one of my favorite fish.

  • This is such a nice video! I can never find that first plant anywhere... if anyone has it or know where I can buy it pls let me know. I'm in the USA. Thank you,

  • @zakartaz Thank you. That plant is quite a fast grower so I'm surprised you can't find it. If I have it again I'll let you know!

  • i wish i had money... :(

  • @1994christhomas It definitely does cost quite a bit to run this size aquarium. You could look into keeping a smaller aquarium and making it beautiful too.

  • Its so beautiful.. makes me want to be a fish and swim around in that paradise!

  • @withramya Thanks! The blue rams are loving it in there.
