There are people who do bash Mormons, as well as several other false gospel teaching groups, but it is a huge mistake on the part of LDS people to assume that everyone who witnesses to them, or refutes their faith is a basher, or an "anti Mormon". The term anti Mormon is a shield that LDS people put up in order to not have to deal with the very real and spiritually detrimental problems in their religion. They do this to their eternal doom, if they refuse to hear the truth.
I remember a section of the church magazine that was the forerunner of The Ensign (LDS magazine) that had a section, in it, that had the title "Who's Who, in Mormonism". This was always such a bit of pretentious nonsense, to me, back then: that the "WHO" would be the important consideration, instead of the "What" (viz., factual truth) let the reader know what was of greatest importance, to them, in this silly, vain, and posturing religion.
There is not solid evidence to prove mormonism is real. When i get more substancial evidence i will be inclined to believe that Joseph smith wasnt just a attention craving cult leader. People joined that him for false hope. Now and days people have more so of a mind to call them cult leaders on the bullshit.. and techically mormonism by definition is a cult so is juhova witness and ect..
the only persecution that is truly blessed is persecution for the name of Christ. The priesthood of Aaron wasn't about authority over men or angels. It was about the atonement practice. Jesus fulfilled the atonement once and for all. Done.

Only the sons of Aaron could hold this priesthood, and officiate the duties. No Mormon on record has claimed to be of the lineage of Aaron, not yet Joseph Smith or any of the 3 people who claimed to have received the priesthood.
This would break binding covenants of God for Mormons to "restore" this priesthood. Num. 3:10
@DURound Actually the priesthood of Aaron much like the Levitical priesthood was lineage based. God made a covenant with Aaron and his decent Numbers 3:10, and if God breaks that covenant He isn't the God of the Bible. If he can so easily break covenants then he is no god at all.
As for what happened to the priesthood of Aaron. It was fulfilled permanently with Christ's sacrifice. Hebrews 7.

The reason why I spent any time on Mormonism, is because for over 150 years, my family has been Mormon. I was raised Mormon. I have certain convictions about Mormonism as a result of my experience, and since Mormonism consumed 3/4 of my life. I feel like Mormonism is still very much a large part of my life. 90% of my friends and family are LDS.

I remember a section of the church magazine that was the forerunner of The Ensign (LDS magazine) that had a section, in it, that had the title "Who's Who, in Mormonism". This was always such a bit of pretentious nonsense, to me, back then: that the "WHO" would be the important consideration, instead of the "What" (viz., factual truth) let the reader know what was of greatest importance, to them, in this silly, vain, and posturing religion.

Excellent explanation of the office of high priest within the covenant of law, slu!! He was there to officiate the sacrifices of that covenant. Not only the laws within the covenant, but the VERY covenant itself and all it entails can be called the law. And as such, it is all a shadow (foreshadow) of Messiah who IS the substance of the shadow.

Only the sons of Aaron could hold this priesthood, and officiate the duties. No Mormon on record has claimed to be of the lineage of Aaron, not yet Joseph Smith or any of the 3 people who claimed to have received the priesthood.
This would break binding covenants of God for Mormons to "restore" this priesthood. Num. 3:10

@DURound Actually the priesthood of Aaron much like the Levitical priesthood was lineage based. God made a covenant with Aaron and his decent Numbers 3:10, and if God breaks that covenant He isn't the God of the Bible. If he can so easily break covenants then he is no god at all.
As for what happened to the priesthood of Aaron. It was fulfilled permanently with Christ's sacrifice. Hebrews 7.

Really? 1 Nephi 13: 22-40 makes it clear that there are only two churches: one of Satan and one of the the Lamb. And if a church taught something as fact in 1820 and it was of Satan then, and they teach the same thing now, how is it no longer of Satan today? I found Jesus Christ in the bible and after many prayers and he really changed my heart so that I could love again.
Then I started a research for the right church, and I also visited those different churches.
The only church, where I could find no bad words about the others was the lds-Church. I was baptized there 17 years ago and I feel very blessed since that day.

In the beginning of the ldschurch the other churches showed exactly that, what christians today criticize: They were absolutely intolerant and they preached, that everybody will go to hell, if he dont believe in their faith.
Joseph Smith did the same like you: He criticized that intolerance and wanted to make it clear, that Jesus is a saviour for all mankind. So, he was right with his critic!

The reason why I spent any time on Mormonism, is because for over 150 years, my family has been Mormon. I was raised Mormon. I have certain convictions about Mormonism as a result of my experience, and since Mormonism consumed 3/4 of my life. I feel like Mormonism is still very much a large part of my life. 90% of my friends and family are LDS.
My videos are old. I said my peace and moved on. For example, this video was made in 2007.

I find no disparaging faults between these originals and the current copies of the Book of Mormon being printed. I have read them for myself so your scanned pages me nothing to me. The 1830 addition of the Book of Mormon is still not as good as the original hand written transcription from the mouth of the prophet himself. Anyone will be able to read these for themselves soon at the church history museum in Salt Lake City if it is not already available online it soon will be.

Baptism is both a physical AND spiritual baptism...since God is both physical AND spiritual--and Christ Himself was physically baptized and taught that He showed the way.
Suggesting that our bodies do not need cleansing is to reject the physical existence of God, much less our own physical existence. Our spirits also need to be 'baptized'...you embrace baptism by fire (holy ghost) and reject the physical baptism of Jesus- by water.

Yeah that Joe Smith was one wild and crazy trouble maker. You know I caught my neighbor staring out his window the other day and I was ever so close to making a citizen's arrest for disturbing the peace. The nerve of him looking through glass. BoM also says that the Lamanites (at times) were more rightous than the Nephites. Thus saying, they were entitled to salvation the same as anyone. Your point is really LAME!! Try really reading the book and quit whinning.
