I had a similar idiot outside the shop i worked at... an ambulance turned up, sirens blaring to see a customer who'd had a serious fall in our shop. Except the ambulance could not get anywhere near, because some inconsiderate fuckers idling away would not shift their damn car.

I've been a bus driver for a good six years and this is unfortunately a VERY common problem. Some people just don't understand double yellow lines. They are there to STOP vehicles parking. This is a classic example of someone who doesn't give a toss and I'd have been blasting the horn non-stop. Blue badge holders are also a pain thinking they can park anywhere. I had to get the police to move them on, twice! Needles to say they weren't impressed. Tough shit! Park with consideration for others!

Common problem in Derby Town Centre, however it's usually buses or cars causing the blockages. Along the street, there are numerous bus stops, in front of takeaways. Cars pull up, block the stops, buses have to wait in the middle of the single lane. Or sometimes more than 1 bus turns up, and the stop is occupied, so they have to wait. Not long ago two fire engines on a 999 call came down, and were stuck for 5 mins, with people telling the ignorant bus driver to move.He eventually got the message

That way the people behind her would've known what was going on and so even if she could not call a tow truck someone else could have.
