  • That being said this was my first play and I had never taken choir prior to this year, let alone it is a high school production and you have to understand it is a learning experience for everyone involved. I'm sorry if you did not enjoy the show, but I know many people did and I'm not talking about my part I understand I wasn't great, but at least I tried my best to create the best show possible. Thank you.

  • So, for anyone who could possibly come back to read this comment that commented on this video earlier, I was the person who played Mr. Bumble in this show. And yes I was upset myself that I was not asked to sing when by the time this show was preformed I know I was capable to do so. It was the directors choice, not my own. Let alone the lead who played Bumble left the show weeks prior to the showing and I was asked to take his place and worked very hard to make it as good as I possibly could.

  • this is LAME!!

And i hav to see it with my class! :(

  • Just love it!!

  • Gosh. I love how Mr. Bumble spoke all of his lyrics.

    Lame.

  • wow mr bumble,just wow

  • @cl4540 lmfao

  • i was a fagin's boy

  • To all the people that make negative comments on this PLEASE REMEMBER!!! THESE ARE KIDS KIDS KIDS. This is a HIGH SCHOOL PLAY!!!! NOT A PROFESSIONAL Production. THEY ARE JUST KIDS so give them a break. NO MORE NEGATIVE COMMENTS PLEASE!! I Thought they did great considering they are JUST KIDS!!

  • @firestepher72

Not that I enjoy hearing negative comments about shows, but that comment of yours shows just how little you know. It's insulting and degrading to any high school theater program, a number of which routinely churn out nearly professional level shows, on shoestring budgets, and often running with the proverbial skeleton crew. So before you go insinuating that high school students are incapable of preforming quality shows, realize exactly what you are saying.

  • @Hobbit2014 I wasn't intending it to be a negative comment. I was simply trying to reitterate how others are dropping negative comments. Granted it is a High School production. I have been in several of them in High School myself. So don't state I know little about HIGH SCHOOL productions. They are NOT professional productions on the scale I am stating as say Broadway quality.

  • @firestepher72 Puh-lease. I'm with a production company that does age groups of k-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The 9-12 shows are just as good as Broadway, and the 6-8 (which I'm in) is amazing. The only fault we had in our last show (Fiddler on the Roof) was that when doing the dance in a circle it kept breaking, but that happens in real life at bat/bar mitzphas or weddings.

  • @firestepher72 i agree its good play taking in to consideration all the things u pointed out, tho its must be hard doing a brisitsh play with an american accent.

  • I sang the for what your about to review part when my school did the play lol it was on my bray too

  • @freakgirl1998 Look at 4:27. There's a kid there that's half the size of the ones next to him, so just think about how young he must be. So don't get mad about him not being on time, or not being lively, and the smaller ones are the people you're seeing because they are small and need to be in the front. If you look at everyone else they ARE being lively. So don't call it terrible

  • this must take place in the 1800 in France.

  • @freakgirl1998 Sometimes the director makes the choice to take out fake accents. Like, if its for a certian character, maybe not. But for a play in the whole, either some actors can't do the accent or the director decides that they want it with no fake accents because it sounds fake

  • love this musical one day i wish i can play nancy

  • @TheAllthatjazzgal try auditioning for things! Google em'! Maybe you can someday! :)

  • you guys sing beautifully, but i can definitely hear some girls in there :P hehe i'm being picky here, but mostly the accent is fab, but in the shouty bits like "king's ransom!" the american accent comes through...

however, the choreography is really good and the kids get better as the song goes on :)

    well done :D

    xx

  • @beltingtokra and that really short kid is just adorable! :)

  • Whats wrong with that kid? He's so short!

  • lol short kid!!!

    :

  • Wow this is good! I'm playing Nancy in our school show of Oliver, you guys did really good!
