  • it is danny's song, and he gave peter credit as well. both guitarists are great , danny is a fabulous singer and lyricist as well.

  • Beautiful from start to end. The chemistry in the guitar playing is mavellous.

  • I'd like to add, that I am perfectly aware that the ('standard') flip side of Dragonfly is The Purple Dancer.

By the way, those beautiful pics of landscapes form a perfect 'background' to the music:)

  • Very good version. And I am definitely sure it's Danny & Peter. It's just rather different from the version on the flip side of The Green Manalishi. Was this really the b-side of Dragonfly? Strange, I googled a bit and I can't find anything about this. Besides that, Dragonfly is from the post-Green period. So why would they have combined these two songs? Okay, I must admit they are both Kirwan-penned compositions.

  • this isn't the version on the b side of green manalishi

  • @alexbl this version was on the B Side of The Green Manalishi :)

  • @kerryannemclean ; NOPE it was the B side of "Dragonfly"

  • Where is this version from?

  • please, somebody knows what album I find this track in studio version

  • PETER GREEN'S FLEETWOOD MAC IS SWIFT!!!

  • Where is the original song ?

  • Really a beautiful song! I can hear a bit of 'Albatross' phrasing in some parts of the song. Thanks for sharing it!

  • Very nice composition and fine playing in this piece. I was reminded of some phrases from Albatross in the early part of the song and then afte the bridge. It seems Peter and Danny could be pretty diverse in their range of music genres. Sometimes getting really 'bluesy' and then off into a more original and ethereal quality to a lot of their creations. Thanks for sharing, I had not heard this before.

  • very VERY NICE

  • great tune....nice vid....tyvm

  • This track turned up as a B-side to 'The Green Manelishi' which my brother got in 1970. Reprise label 45 r.p.m. Not heard it for 40 years!!! tysm.....

  • @9012jive Same here, my big sister had this and I played it to death, first hearing in 40 years, still sounds great!

  • Wasn't this the B side of Albatross? Really nice to hear it again. Thanks for posting!

  • NICE.

  • These instrumentals just take me to another place. Why can't we all be there?

  • Thanks Sam kool vid and song I don't remember? What album is this off of?

  • This dont sound like Peter&Danny to me!

  • I assure you it is though :)

There is quite a different production and tone to this recording i'll give you that.

  • @sam19851 Must agree with the bloke doubting it, myself. Sounds like someone trying to copy them.

  • @firefly2jedi

Typical Mick Fleetwood Drumming, I would say. Unmistakable style he has! Is definatly Peter and the group.

  • @firefly2jedi think I hear some slide guitar?? Is Jeremy Spencer also playing on this one???

  • first time i heard this but its lovely.!!! xxx really like it.

    xx

  • NICE ONE SAM!

  • Outstanding. irst heard this as a kid. Thanks for posting this version.

  • Thanks for posting this instrumental, what a sublime collaboration. Great photo montage too.

  • Thanks, not quite an Odessa steps sequence or anything of your standard Blue but it works with this instrumental well :)

  • Well, we can argue whether our world is in harmony, at least this song

and vid is in harmony and thats something to start with.

    Tks Sam.

  • Beautiful

  • I think that word is ideal. xD

    Thanks for commenting Danny.
