  • @thebeach2008 Wtf you talking about? The first thing you see in this movie is not the spinning top...

  • yeah the spinning thing started to topple so it makes you think it's reality, but his kids were the same age and even like wearing the same clothes as in all of his dreams that he saw them. so wouldn't they have aged if he really hadn't seen him in a while? so i think the fact that they turned around, unlike in the rest of his dreams, didn't signify reality, but that he had learned that the past is the past and you should enjoy the good memories instead of torturing yourself with the bad

  • @caaarolineohlson Thank you for that response be sure to check out the main channel USD56, and be sure subscribe!

  • I believe he's still dreaming and the team only made it back to the first level of the dream world..... during the getting back to reality put each person passed through each level of the dream where Cobb went stright back to the airplane without going through each phase

  • Im in 8th grade and i get the movie..... wait that's cause i'm Asian :)

  • For example, arthur's loaded die. If someone else were to act as the architect and create a dreamspace for him to join, they would not have the intricate details of how much the die weighs, and will not have designed the dream world to have a loaded die. In this world, arthur would reach for his die and it would probably feel like a fair die. Same thing with girl's chess piece. No one would know how it's 'weighted', so if she held it and felt different, she'd know it's not her dream. this is why

  • @z3nger no one was allowed to touch arthur's loaded die, for if they did, they'd know how to design a dream so the weight feels JUST right, then he wouldn't know if he's in someone else's dream, or his own.

  • @z3nger in cobb's case, his totem spins forever in his dream (against the laws of physics). No one else would know to do this when designing a dream. So if someoen else were to design a dream and pull him into it, it would stop spinning, and he would know.

  • @z3nger only question i have is then: how do you tell reality from your own dream (for arthur's case, both reality and his own dream will have teh same feel for the loaded die, because his subconscious is smart), and how do you differentiate reality from someone else's dream (in cobb's case - because both in reality and someone else's dream, the totem is supposed to follow the laws of physics and lose centrifugal momentum after some time and stop spinning)

  • ok..u have this all wrong (no offense).

The point of the totem isnt to distinguish reality from dreamspace, but to distinguish if you're in your OWN dream, vs someone else's dream.

  • Lol and as for the chess piece, had somthing to do with her pushing it over, and "her" i mean "Cisco, the Human Network"

  • lol yo that movie was sickk.. Snow mission at the end? boom.

  • @icebox3669 thanks I'm glad someone actually watched my video.
