Definitely can't watch it less than 5 times in a row. Melanie totally killed it. I love how she does even the smallest of moves with such meaning. I feel that she always completes the moves unlike Sasha and shows more emotion. Too bad Sasha fell out that turn in the end:/. They both danced for their lives though.

This piece was fantastic! Melanie+Sasha+Sonya could equal nothing but greatness! I truly loved both dancers! Both have such power and beauty in their dance. Personally I connected more with Sasha at the beginning of this routine (which shocked me since I have loved Melanie since her audition). However, when it came to the part where they threw themselves into a split (1:03) Melanie once again stole the show. From that moment on I felt more connected to Melanie's performance. I <3 them both!

Oh. My. GOD. Melanie is SO amazing. Her body movements and her face and head just eminate with power and emotion. I used to see them equally, but when they were put together like this, I realized that no matter how much I tried, I couldn't take my eyes off of melanie. Her movements are so emphasized and beautiful!!!

while I'm not saying sasha isn't a fantastic dancer (which she is, no question about that) I think that melanie connects better with the audience. personally, I prefer melanie over sasha, but not because they're not equally amazing dancers. I just can't quite connect to sasha on an emotional level. its not that she lacks emotion - far from it. I just havent experienced enough of life to fully appreciate the passion that fuels her dancing

Melanie can dance, but her range has NOT been displayed the way Sasha's has!! Sasha can dance anything WELL! Melanie can't! Yes, she may have a higher kick, or extension, BUT that does not a dancer make!!! The show is based upon being able to dance ALL styles WELL, and so far SASHA is the only female that has really displayed that! Especially after tonight 8/3/11! Let's see Melanie do a hip hop routine without all the lifts and 'modern' nuances!!!

Sasha and ricky's "wacking" performance was mediocre and they'll be in the bottom yet again. Has melanie EVER been in the bottom? thought so.

@tmasala Both dancers are phenomenal, but in Melanie's defense, it's not exactly her fault that she's been given styles like contermporary and lyrical hip hop, instead of things like Bollywood and wacking. Just because we haven't seen her do it, doesn't mean that she can't.

I really want the final to be between Melanie & Marko. Right now though, I'm rooting for Marko. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MELANIE TO DEATH and i think sasha is AMAZINGG, but I don't feel connected to sasha. As for Melanie, ever since the couples were split, she's had nothing but contemporary or some other somewhat similar routine (and of course she murders every one of them). Marko has had more diverse routines that showcase his amazing ability to dance anything...IDK. IM SCARED FOR THE FINALE.

I just have to say this I'm a contemporary dancer have been for 15 years, with that being said all contemporary dancer don't dance the same. You have ones that dance soft and pristine and then you have ones that dance stong and powerful. Also a lot of contemporary dancers a

don't have perfect turns. Ballet is a major factor in contemporay dancing and the ones who are mor graceful in their movements their training probably consisted more on the ballet aspect. You can not compare these (cont)

Yes, Melanie probably has been dancing way before Sasha, she probably had those parents that put her in dance class at the age of three. So Sasha haters stop saying she doesn't have technique when she obviously does, just because u like Melanie.

I think that Sasha and Melanie are stronger dancers but who knows what we would have seen from Jordan if she'd had been given the same as those two.

To me, the better dancer of the two is obviously Melanie. She has the technique and can fit any style. Sasha is rigid and her shoulders are always too high. Plus her technique is not as strong as Melanie's. She fell out of her turn at the end 1:20 I don't entirely understand all of her hype.

While the dancing here is clearly brilliant, strong and amazing by both dancers, I think it sited Sasha a lot more than Melanie. While Sasha is known for her strength moves, i think Mel is known more for her gliding graceful, elegant movements. Therefore, I just didn't like the "Sonya-ness" of this piece on her. This was absouloutly amazing. I had to watch twice. I love these 2, I love Sonja, I'm not a jazz dancer, strickly hip hop, but this was just that great. I apreciate all styles of dance and this inspired me even more. Absouloutly oustanding.
