The actors seem fine other than a few issues vut even there minor, but we are missing the fact that ares and clarisse are not even in it?? I mean ares is a huge role in this book how can they just leave him out?

you know some of the people in the cast arent really shown in the book like persphone. i think the main thing is the age issue and tht the person playing Annabeth should at least try to put a wig on and wear contacts. still great i love that Logan Lerman's in the movie =]

I doubt they made grover black to be PC haah. they probably just liked the actor and felt that it wouldn't effect the film to let him be black. He doens't look the way I pictured him, but then I always saw annabeth as a blonde LOL

Ok, who the hell is Clarisse! Mr. Thomnus as Grover would of been awesome just an age issue. Annabeth, blonde hair duh! Ok please tell me, does Steve Coogan have an accent or not. If he does not cool. Kevin McKidd has an accent. Saw a interwiew. Hope they can get rid of that. Uma Thurman as Medusa rocks! That one lady as Ms. Dodds/Fury is so cool! Almost jizzed my pants when I saw her. I don't know what I think abouyt the cast yet. The best choice they have made so far is Sean Bean as Zues! Yes!

Clarisse is the daughter of Ares and is very important throughoput the series. She causes a lot of trouble for Percy at camp, and if they make "the Sea of Monsters" into a movie, they will need to have her, because she becomes very important int hat book. She is also important in Lightening Theif. I suggest you read the book, it is a very easy read.

I think Jake Abel as Luke is perfect! I thimk Alexandra Daddario is way too old to play Annabeth even if they are making the characters older. Brandon Jackson isnt anything like I expected Grover to look like, And I think Chelan Simmons is pretty good and I like Dimitri Lekkos as Apollo. What about Hermes? And who do you think should play Nico and Bianca di Angelo if they do more of the series?
