Yes, my son, the good Capt was with the 325th CSH in Bagram, Afghanistan. He was promoted to MAJ and was deployed to 399th CSH in Mosul, Iraq. This was just before the 399th CSH was moved to Asad/Tikrit.
this is really touching! made me tear up. makes me hate germany even more... i live here. and people here are so anti-american. some of them collect money and send it to iraq. for 'resistance' terrorist groups... makes me wanna puke.
anyways. im really glad you got back to your family.
my fiance will be leaving this coming spring. Im so scared. I dont want him to leave me, but i know its his duty and he's honored to do it for his country. I pray everynight for the soldiers everywhere. Thank you all!

What a great homecoming! The best part of mine was that it happened. When I got on my plane to Fort Jax from BWI, the other passengers applauded. It was a very emotional moment, feeling such support from complete strangers.
want to thank you for all that you do and sacrifice. I know you have a hard life, you're willing to leave your families to serve our country.

Info says 399th CSH but pics are not of CSH in al Asad/Tikrit. Could the good CPT been with a different unit in Afghanistan?
