the 8600GT will actually get bored. Dont buy the 512MB version though, the card isnt capable of utilizing that much effectively. Just get the 256MB, its just as good for $50-$100 cheaper. But honestly, save up for the 8800GT, the 8600 doesnt hold a candle to it, I've owned both (currently the 8800)

That's true! A think that's is better to buy an used 6600GT than a 8400GS or something like, DX10 is only useful for Vista users.
