  • nice save with the glide in landing

  • fuck thats fast !

  • good god! that thing is fast!!! good job i love pulse jets

  • lol, the american army should use that as a drone to fly over the taliban, they would probably only thinks its retarded fly or mosquito .

any, good job from your previous rocket design that did not quite work the way tou wanted it to be.

  • theres alot of pensioners in London running for there bomb shelters right about now !!

  • start your own Rocket Racing league

  • how you turn the engine off and land this thing?

  • That thing is FAST!!!!!

  • Fast and great job!

  • awesome! want it :D it´s like the plane can´t deside wether it should sound like a motor or a jet engine^^

  • i made a pulse jet plane that was faster than this but being thirteen and not being a rocket scientist it blew up within 15 minutes i was not happy

  • HA very cool !!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!! seriously, THAT is the kind of toy i want for christmas :):):)

  • Very smooth landing =P

  • How much thrust is given off?

  • your the best lander.

  • that was amazing

  • That's some sweet gliding. Do manned Long EZs glide well enough to land you safely with engine dead?

  • I would be so scaired to fly this thing it's going so fast you need really fast corrections on the controls just to keep it in the air!

  • amazing vid!

  • 1:30 strange wilderness lol

  • impressive

  • terrible sound of pure power

  • Is there modulation to thrust in pulsejet engines? The speed of this rc plane is 1:16 scale terryfing. ;)

  • @Austyg so what is it's speed at that scale?

  • @tnhl77 ... waelp, for Long EZ, Wikipedia says:

"Maximum speed: 185 mph (298 km/h; 161 kn) (max cruise)"

    so, 185 * 16 = a whopping 2,960 mph! ... 3.9 times the speed of sound!

Compare to what Wikipedia says of F/A-18 Hornet:

    "Maximum speed: Mach 1.8 (1,190 mph, 1,915 km/h) at 40,000 ft (12,190 m)"

    heh heh ;)

  • How about making a plane where you can control the throttle? This is what people did 50 years ago.

  • Now i know how the British felt like back in 44'

  • @Drfusebox thats funny but kinda sad

  • Crikey Bruce, that's something else!....nice work man.

  • @nickthesafe Gidday Nick, long time no hear! Lots more cool stuff coming this summer now I'm sorting out the workshop. Stay tuned ;-)

  • decent land

  • Its length contracts!

  • nice,

  • Now that's an accomplishment. You have a jet airplane that sounds like it's powered by single-cylinder piston engine.

  • You'll need to use a microscope to fly one of these.

  • love the guy laughing at the end

  • i would hate to see that thing hit 88mph lol

  • how do you land it? may be into a building?

  • Now mount a pistol on it with a remote trigger fire system...

  • Holy cow! Went transonic at 1:10. See the shockwave? xD

  • rediculous

    asbolutely

    rediculous

  • @TheKillernova69 never saw this in real? if yes you would not say rediculous!

  • damn that goes fast

  • Sonic Boom! x)

  • Beautiful, Now break the sound barrier :D

  • That thing sounds so cool now too.

  • Dear Santa...

  • my rate of crash with this nightmare design faulty plane is 50%

  • nice landing with no fuel

  • iffyart....fuel VALVE

  • Yah, just kinda fast.

  • Pulse jets are a blind alley that was explored 80 years ago by the Nazi's. For the rest of us, they are too noisy, and inefficient. Thats why this approach has never been taken up by Rolls Royce, Snecma or GE.

  • must be fun, whatever you do though dont fly this over a retirement home. They mite think its ww2 and the doodlebugs are back lol, im not too schooled on rocket propulsion either but how do you stop it, have always been under the imprecation that pulse's will keep going till they basically run out of fuel lol

  • Now when can u get the full size version ready ?

  • noice

  • is it just me or does this sound a lot like a fart. awesome vid btw :D

  • wild e coyote tatical drone airborne.

  • sounds like something wild e coyote would use

  • @pepinator2000 that is the best comment i have ever seen on YouTube! I wondered what the hell you was talking about until i heard the engine start up. Brilliant stuff.

  • very nice!!!!!

  • Good luck to your house, LOL

  • WOW! Soooooo much faster than the other engine!!

    Dm

  • i guess its full throttle or nothing at all?

  • The air force was on his ass in ten minutes haha flying fast as fighter jets

  • That is an engine. With wings. Most excellent. I'm super impressed! The thing sounds like a buzz-bomb! (Not that I've ever personally HEARD one, but, I imagine that's what they sound like!)

  • i love it sir! excellent

  • how much does it cost to get your hands on one of those plusejet engines

  • Comment removed

  • Impressive!!!!!

  • thats fucking coooooooooooool fast flying , amazing dude

  • two words. Holy shit.

  • @PrometheusFreedom for words..

  • @MegaRocketLaunch learn 2 spell :)

  • I'de like, to see some more vidoes of these new techonolgy you call pulse jet plane. I used to have a motor engine is inside my plane but these only require, some gas and a engine thats very cool please make more vidoes and nice flying man even old people can be better at gliding amazing new planes. Im glad you made those planes and nice :)

  • Looks heart pounding!

    Dear Santa,

  • dang thats nice. would be lots of fun if i had one of those.

  • oh cool jet, sounds like a regular engine though

  • Sonic boom at 1:12.

  • @zacksta999 Maybe, if it would be awesome ;D

  • Man... that landing was awesome...

  • space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space space

  • @bunsstar201 if that coud go to space you would need to inject oxygen and a shit load of fuel, and a better designed inturnal structure

  • nice landing

  • How the hell do people get real runways for their RCs? Even if the engine and speed is real...

  • What are the dynamics involved with throttle pulsejet engines? What are the limiting factors in thrust? I suppose I should research some scholarly articles on this. Great job though, very cool.

  • nice landing.

  • awesome!!!!

  • i want one!!!!

  • if there could be a disposable fire control the payloader tank

  • Yhat is SWEEEET!!!!!

  • you should put a camera on that thing and make a display on the RC controller or something like that so you can see as if you were a pilot in the plane :D I've wanted to build or have such a thing since i was a kid ^^

  • Your a awesome pilot, sorry about that crash though..........

  • Long EZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Augmenter may enhance flight duration, notwithstanding weight.

  • thats a very nizush landing.

  • Shit that is fast, awesome

  • nice one!

  • you're good pilot...but...when you start the engine...ho to off it? can you land? or you must go without fuel

  • @1994xs

well i would use a valve for the fuel regulation

  • ohhhhhh ah ah ooohhh ahhh oohhh haha whaooaa

  • Bring it over and I could cook me a hot dog on there!

  • Which fuel are you using?

  • WAOOO is very fast , nice.

  • wow tht drains fuel like crazy

  • wow i want one

  • that is the future...

  • i wonder if they made a real jet with a romote control

  • This is awesome. I want to know how to build one

  • nice landing

  • Awesome landing

  • Was that a sonic boom, Halo, at 1:11

  • @tahoeskiier This thing goes barely faster than a sport car, that was just a light reflection on camera lens.

  • So is there any way to control the amount of fuel that goes in to modulate speed?

  • Probably the most awesome video on youtube.

  • my god that is one hell of a model plane thumbs up all the way

  • i dont think the cheap Chinese PLANE PART HASE EVER GON THAT FAST!

  • Wow, you are a good R.C. Aviator just to fly it so great!

  • Nice job, buddy. good landing as well!!

  • Holy crap! that is fast but maybe you should extend the fuel tank for longer flight.

  • how does it works?

is it just an iron pipe with an bougie on the endand 3 cm before the bougie the

where does it works on? gas on keroziene?

    please reply

  • how does it works?

is it just an iron pipe with an bougie on the endand 3 cm before the bougie the gas input? can you send me an blueprint of the engine

where does it works on? gas on keroziene?

    please reply

  • الهبوط راااااااااااااااااااااائع ..

    اعجاآبيي ^_^

    ابو زهره :)

  • cool

  • thats awesome..... ive always wanted a turbine jet rc but its like 6000$ just for the engine....i can make that in 10 minutes in my garage, and a cheap plane would be like 200.......

  • Holy crap that thing is fast, nice work !!

  • How about a prop and brushless setup?

  • show us how u made this so i canmake one

  • that is pretty amazing!

  • very impressive, i like especially how nicely you were able to land it

  • SONIC BOOM! :D 1:10

  • HOW DO U MAKE A VALVED PULSEJET BECAUSE I REALLY WANT TO MAKE 1

  • what if you were to put a wireless webcam on it?

  • damn thats fast

  • really nice

  • lmao don't ever let me fly that thing; going, going, gone. lol

  • Genius.

  • This was totally wicked ! Adored the speed, power, controllability and above all smoothness of the ride, that is a fantastic product ! Looking forward to seeing it mounted on a Fi-103 Reichenberg (you know, the one in the movie Operation Crossbow which German test pilot Hanna Reitsch flew)

  • Could this be used in the future to replace turbines on aeroplanes? If so, what are the advantages, does it really have much thrust?

  • @TheFatSpaniel

Well actually Turbines replaced the pulsejet, pulsejet does not have the power of a turbine (well designed of course) but they are real damn cheap, simple & reliable. As xjet said few hundred bucks vs few thousand bucks diff !!

  • @TheFatSpaniel none it guzzles fuel like you wouldnt believe

lots of thrust but lots of fuel too pulse jets were for fathers of turbines so it would be a step back

  • very well done on the landing

  • UAV Online.

  • how does the thrust control for such an engine work? can you throttle down by pumping fuel into the engine at a lower rate??

  • well done!!!

  • at 1:12 is sonic boom

  • Why the plane is farting?

  • Thumbs up, man!

  • OVNI at 1:11 ???

  • 1 minute is all you get? Yikes what a guzzler.

  • Wonderful!!!

  • how fast is that thing going.. one of the fastest things' I've seen.

  • very cool design...what's the fuel consumption?

  • Pretty cool. But this is for someone who is very experianced with these type of flying models. Very skilled flyer.

  • Wow... How much fuel did that flight take up? As fast as that little plane was going it seems like it would take a lot of fuel!

  • Liked it! I love weird planes!! also see my superhero dude if you want

  • Whats up with the mask ??

  • Nice one well smart man!

  • This is just so cool!!! But there is 1 limitation that came to mind(I have only known about Pulsejets for 10 minutes now), this cannot work very well at higher altitudes(not only with respect to RC Aeroplanes but in general) due to low air pressure causing the Pulsejet to be less powerfull than at say sea level, but its an amazing concept nevertheless :D

  • that thing is fast jesus

  • What kind of motor is that?

  • That is just...way cool. Man...

  • This video really shows the doppler effect verry nicely.

  • I love it! simple, cheap, and they make noise! who would've thought a check valve a funnel and 2 pieces of tubing could be so much fun! I cant wait to see what you can make next and excite us all!

  • how might one stop that?????

  • EWW stinky!!! that was a wet one!

  • that is really fast. awesome.

  • If you are a Londoner and survived WW2 you don't like that sound (buzz bombs).

  • wow that's a nice toy. i want one

  • Very cool. The thing that immediately springs to mind is if you have an excess of thrust now, why not go with a smaller motor and increase the range by carrying more fuel? Or a larger aircraft capable of lifting more fuel. Just an idea.

  • @mrdarklight There's a larger model under construction. Stay tuned for developments!

  • @mrdarklight Or why not use that extra power to carry a warhead?

  • @mrdarklight EXACTLY what I thought as soon as I saw that thing try to rip itself out of his hands... this can power a significantly larger plane, and carry a lot of fuel. I wonder how much flying time he gets out of this (or got... looks like he crashed it, based on the related videos on the right).

  • So totally cool!

  • Was that a sonic boom @ 1:12?

  • A pulse jet is very different to turbine jet. there are no spinning parts in a pulse jet. It is a series of controlled detonations to give thrust. simplicity is its benifit, there are no complex parts to make., down sides are huge heat generated, why most model pulse jets are mounted external of the airframe, and almost zero throttle control. but bang for buck its a great design. Hilter used pulse jets to send the doodlebugs our way, good job they were noisy, spits and hurries could catch em

  • this thing sounds awesome

  • where i can but one of that

  • nice flight + nice landing

  • DAMN!!!! that sound fuckin SEXY!!!

  • sweet landing!

i was on the edge of my seat!

  • it better glide well its doin 200mph :P
