master, PES 08 was a joke. It was the worst PES game since PES1 on the PS2. The reason for this, was obviously the console change. Konami improved their faces 100% on PEs09. That's why PES 09 had better faces than FIFA 09 and why there is a video on here about it. And also, PES 2010 will have improved faces 100% yet again. Take a look on the web. SO realistic!

The PES 09 characters are more detailed than that of FIFA 08.This is mainly due to a newer game engine.However the PES games have not been lisenced by FIFA as FIFA 08 is the official football game.Therefore the PES 09 character though being more detailed than its FIFA counterpart purposely does not replicate the original players as FIFA does inorder to avoid copyright infridgement and other legal issues which could probably ban the game.
