  • I've responded to Brett's opinions about kangaroo numbers and integrity of species in comments at "4A Urgent need for Wildlife Corridors in Australia" on my channel. So I won't reproduce those comments here.

  • well not yet is that true.. only half the quota is taking each year.. if all the quota was taken we would be in trouble.. there is no evidence the kangaroo industry is yet, anymore then a cheap form of pest control. however if kangaroo products increase in value there is a chance.. if they dont.. your right rangelands kangaroo are in trouble!!

  • This guy is doing enormous work for the kangaroos and is passionate about it! I wish I can meet him to talk about the fate of the roos. Check out his great work on the kangaroo protection coalition website! Wish there were more people like him!

  • although I applaud anyone who cares about conservation in Australia, kangaroos are not the animals to be concerned about. They (red & grey kangaroos) are one of the most abundant wild animals on earth. I could name off a dozen species right now that will be extinct from the wild in Australia within ten years and none are large kangaroos.. We should be worried about losing our biodiversity.. but kangaroo are quiet safe!!!

  • That's true for the moment but you must admit that roos's aren't treated very well here. The kangaroo industry kills off a lot, faster than the roos can reproduce.

  • good concise information re the sad kangaroo situation in Australia.
