  • Was sitting down the right field line that afternoon. As I recall, he went out to 2nd base at the top of the next inning. Just before the first pitch, he was removed so the crowd could salute him 1 more time.

  • I was there. I'll never forget when he ran around the side of the field! Love how he played almost every game with heart and passion. It sucks that him and the rest of the starting roster( except for Lee) aren't there anymore. The Stros just aren't the same.

  • there not yelling easy out there yelling b-g-o

  • I love all the 10 year old pussies yelling, "easy out"

  • he was my favorite and all i ever wanted was to meet him and get a ball signed but now i cant. i still really want one. and he is a highschool baseball coach somewhere in houston. i can still get one.

  • it would have been amazing if his last at bat was a grand slam or even a regular homerun

  • an honor to say that i watched him for 17 great years. one of the greatest to wear an astros uniform

  • @marcorhythm absolutely right, maybe THE greatest? Jeff Bagwell? Nolan Ryan? Jose Cruz? Cesar Cedeno?

  • I remember watching back in June of '88 when he joined the Major league club as a catcher out of Seton Hall. I knew he was going to be a hell of a player, but I had no idea He would be the backbone of my Astros for the next 20 years. Thanks, Craig, for all of the memories and the moments.

  • class act

  • this man and jeff bagwell are the 2 responsible for me ever getting into baseball. and I thank them everyday, what a great sport. Go Astros!

  • Biggio played the game for the fun of it. He just happened to acquire millions of fans and dollars. No. 7 will live forever in Houston.

  • it was his last game...not only was it nice for the ump to dust off the plate twice but also for the pitcher to step off the mound so he could take in his last at bat....FOREVER IN MEMORIES BIGGIO AND BAGWELL, CLASS ACTS ALL THE WAY

  • It was nice how the ump dusted off the plate to give him some time

  • i was there

hes a warrior and a hero

  • You CAN carry a lightweight tripod

  • I wasn't at his last game but I saw it on TV and was at one of the last games he played.
