I am curious as to the major difference between "Curry Powder" and "Garam Masala"? As far as I can tell from researching them both "Garam Masala" contains almost everything that "Curry Powder" does and more, aside from Capsicum (red chili powder) & Turmeric - but as far as I know Turmeric is primarily used for colour only?
@ShowMeTheCurry Than you soo much for the recipe, i live in the caribbean and curry flavored food is a very popular dish here. Wether its latin food, jamaican, trinidad etc.... we west indies folks love curry and i think its cool i can now make my own at home :) thanks so much

Hello Ladies,
Can you please reveal some more of your secrets to me about this receipe...
Is there any need for some salt at the end or at the beginning?
If I have the spices already in powder form what would be the quantities to make a similiar mix like you have done. Thanks
Cyril

@steven3x Sorry, I forgot to mention that I was referring to the store bought versions of both rather than your own recipe or any home made variety.

Ladies I don't know if you have done other masala videos but it would be nice to see how they are made, it can be tough to find reliable recipes.
