Your tent looks like still standing and it is not collapsed.

Also, the flysheet is not shredded by the winds nor does lightning strikes within less than a mile from you.

So.. not quite the mum of thunderstorms...

You'll know it is mum (or dad of thunderstorms) when sleeping with the flysheet almost flat on you. :)

I can remember a fishing session about 25 years ago that turned bad with a huge storm one night, only differance being, we never had tents, just fishing brolly's! To say we got wet is understatement.

Oh, the safest place you can be in a storm is your car by the way as it acts just like a Farraday cage! Honest, thats very true!
