@Antrizzle2009 u just nailed why this one of the all time cuts. Both these cats brought their A-game. Jay Z is freaking the flow, working interior rhymes, speaking on superior intellect (which is when he's at his best), Biggie explodes on the track, big booming voice, riding the beat so flawless it's like his voice is an instraument.
This is like Jordan vs. Magic Johnson or something. If you never seen Jay Z and DMX freestyle, it's the same dynamic. Check it out.

@theyoungcommander Yea I have and that's another great one. I loved DMX during that time period. He didn't have the complex lyrics, but he brought that raw emotion. I think that's why he always got the Pac comparisons.
