@landraiderares the writer's strike forced them to half production on it. now that that's all said and done they started working on it again, but i believe it's going to be a mini-series rather than a movie.

I think Year Zero and the associated campaign is more about experiencing something and not playing a game which is part of some marketing campaign. It is to meant to be considered seriously and to help give you a new sense of the world which can be used to help reinterpret the things that you see around you every day. Knowing that Zero is an art form allows us to avert much of the visceral distraction that comes from seeing real people suffer.
However, by providing an immersing experience it forces us to consider the Zero universe as one of the real possible directions the world can be taking.
