@logozusa Thank you and thank you a thousand times for your kind words. In my live lessons, all of my students (beginners and long time golfers) came with the straightening or locking knee built in. I didn't always have this solution available. It evolved through various semi-successful solutions.
@cameltryde Thank you very much for the nice comment. Please let me know if you have a bit of trouble applying this solution. There is a hidden source of power in this concept. Your ps is so subtly funny. Thank you again.
I just had a lesson today from a local pro and he had me swing from my front leg to my back leg and then at the top pickup my front foot. Dont know if it will work but this is what he gave me for a drill. This info this guy is giving is true as well about phil swing which has been corrected the way he is describing. This info actually insightful unlike some of the other dumb videos that tell you the same crap over and over from so called pros
I am not sure why the above poster being a pro teacher and all wouldn't understand what you are trying to explain. I understand this subject intimately as I have this problem. I can assure you this is very very good info even if the guy doesnt look to have good balance himself and he is doing it in his kitchen. That back knee will screw up your shot faster than hell. It is hard for some to get there turn over there back leg without locking it.
I'm a Golf Professional and work with several Tour players on various tours. With the greatest respect, none of what you state makes any sense. I have no idea how I tripped across this, but please do not offer any further instruction. To all golfers please consult your local PGA or CPGA professional.
Hello ttttube76, Sorry for delay. Heat wave - health issues.
We take great care to set our posture at the ball. If our hips sway during the swing motion we move out of posture and change our position at the ball. To make good contact with the ball we must get our swaying hips back to or thru the original place at impact. This is unwanted work that steals power IF we make good contact.
The more movements in your swing - the more difficult it is to harmonize the moves. All sorts of poor results
would this swaying cause me to have to move back to the ball with my body...and if my hands release on time would that cause a draw or pull...i never go right
