  • thanks, this seems a lot less expensive tan the 45 $ kit i was going to by!

  • thanks to this video.. i can make my physics project now

  • pause at 0:51 ..! what the!!

  • @jhazmintan03 what

  • @ch0asxbabi eBay.Several major photography stores also sell on eBay.Click on 'Cameras & Photo/Film Photography/Darkroom & Developing/Film Development Chemicals'.

  • I'm definitely going to make this...

  • Pity you dont show HOW to put the photopaper in the "camera" and what the chemicals are and how to use it. This video helps only the people that already knows what they are doing. Im not critisizing at all. Well not in a negitave way.

It s wonderfull that you share waht you know.

  • thanks for the info!!

  • your pretty hot

  • Cool, but I don't want to make a REAL camera I just want to submit my project on school,I just need a simple pinhole camera, that inverts the image

  • thats coolllll

  • very cool :) i did this in my photography class except my photo looked like black polka dots on white paper. LOL. they were supposed to be trees.

still, a great way to learn about film photography,

  • Interesting i think i will go try this some day.

  • Becky is so cute!

  • the time expose also depends on the distance of the paper and the shutter. If the distance is a long one, do expose longer, vice versa

  • wow

  • she didn't tell us to poke container or else how light enters?

  • Pull open the tape covering the pinhole and put it back on

    Good video etc

    8.25/10

  • how do you take a photo?

  • woahhhhh

  • Excellent presentation!

  • I like it.

  • jizaz, that's brilliant!!! i mean it!

  • I had to use Goo Gone at the end to clean up everything.

  • awesome didn't know it was that easy

  • oh that Shit is easy. I've done that before.

  • Who cares? It's the earliest form for photography... Every experienced photographer have done this before... You really don't need to brag about it...

  • It's obviously not about being practical. You're not gonna use a goddamn youtube video pinhole camera to take a landscape portrait. Yeah, no shit you can buy a $5 one-use, disposable camera at Wal-Fuck, but thats all it'll ever be. You won't even develop it yourself. It takes away from the essence of photography.

I like this video. It's not about quality, its about taking a picture out of a fucking tin can, and developing it in your bathroom.

  • Becky, Your Awesome!

  • w....t.....f...?

  • WTF, Do you walk around town and insult girls and threaten to kill them?

Think about what you are saying and decide if it is something you would want said about you or someone in your family.

Most people with even moderate intelligence have something called empathy. even some animals have empathy.

To lack empathy means your brain is not fully developed so you are either a kid or a very mentally challenged adult. Or just plain evil.

  • What is wrong with you (skarkol17)? Yet another person spreading hate. Is there any reason at all to insult this woman? Is this what you do to get attention? I don't post, but your comments raise the bile in my throat. I wish I could feel sorry for you.

  • this is great... I'll keep this in mind when I have kids.

  • Or, instead of this, go and buy a cheap $10 dollar camera from Walmart.

  • people do this because they enjoy assembling the product but i agree with you, it's a a lot more practical to just buy one.

  • wow that was a really good video. I just watched the video about home made soft drink. Thank you for sharing!

  • This video is horrible, if I hadn't taken Digital Photography at my highschool, I never would have known how to do anything in this video. You need to go into more detail and explain things better. Otherwise people will have no idea what you're talking about!

  • Cool!

  • Nice video. Thanks for posting it.

  • Cool.

  • those are pretty good pictures

    what are the developing chemicals?

looks like hydrogen peroxide and some salts or something

  • Check the link in the description, there's full developing instructions in the blog post.

  • haha i had to do this in school.

  • Awesome , But I will never do it . 8/10

  • wat d pack

  • hi

what tupe of camical are you uceing to exrackt the foto?

  • Comments like these, make me wanna cry.

  • al6s00740?

  • Yeah...

  • On his channel

it says he is from cyprus

    so their engrish isn't good

  • that is actually really cool

  • yea it fun if u have all the money to set this up. not cheap

  • That's neat.

  • Nice work! Very cool.

  • Loveeeeeee!

  • nice hair cut becky !

  • that is pretty cool i will do this great job

  • It would have been nicer to insert a digital camera sensor instead of the photo paper.

  • awesome! but more like weekend project

  • Eh.. I just used like half a shoe box, sealed the edges but it took a pen hole not a pin hole so that I could get a nice perfect pic. I covered the pen hole using my thumb, the results were excellent. I exposed it at whatever I was going to take a picture at for 6 seconds.

  • great project, lots of fun.

  • awesome!

  • If you have a 35 mm camera and some film, you can make a pinhole camera if you dont have filmpaper and chemicals. I tried it once, the pinhole in the center where the lens goes (remove the lens first) and is only about 1/4 of a milli-meter. I didnte experiement too much, but it does work. Try times of 30 seconds to maby 3 minutes and write them down and the film speed, etc so you can perfect it.

  • i haven't used a pinhole Camera in since high school. they are pretty cool and you can get some neat effects.

  • thats cool!

where can one buy photo paper? and developing liquids

  • in the UK i know Jessops sell it - no idea for America but try camera shops :]

  • thanks so much! I didn't know where i was gonna get it from. I really look forward to doing this project and hope to do so this summer!

  • cool

  • Cool for adults interested in photography, but I really think this would frustrate and turn kids off to such a great art! Just get them a cheap film camera and or some old digital camera lying around.

  • but kids like doing hands-on things so this would be a great project with help of parents

  • I think its more so getting there creativity out and making something that can produce something else, and also learning about developing photo's more so then taking pictures...

  • oh wow thats so simple! very neat!

  • Is ti me, or does she look like Tom Baker, the 4th Dr. Who??

  • Thanks soooo much! This rocks!

  • Did you cut your hair, something is deff different?!

  • very cool!

  • i made it but it doesint really mader becuse i have a real camera but its still fun to use

  • cool I Might give it a shot

  • a _shot_ ;)

  • i did something similar to this in science at school

  • Wow, I didn't know you could make a camera out of simple tools like that.

    This is pretty nifty.

  • thats cool

  • made these in photography class. we used a paint bucket.

  • i like your hair, very original

  • Rly nice

  • Cool.

  • Nice
