@sugadady24 the prismacolor pencil is basically a color pencil that wont be erased as easily as a normal pencil. the ink is permanent and is extremely useful if u want to scan the drawing to your computer. don't know if there's more to it.

this might be kind of a weird question, but what I don't understand is what situations you would want a two point perspective over a one point or vice versa. Like, what are some advantages one type of perspective has over another and what kind of feeling can each one convey most easily?

An intergalactic outdoor swimming pool is impossibe unless the place it's on has atmosphere so that there is breathable gass, for that to happen it needs to be bigger than Mars so the atmosphere is substatial enough to keep the gasses. also without gravity the water would float away. it also needs to be in the 'Goldilocks Zone' for it to be habitable to humans - or pretty much any life anywhere

@PrincessofKaresh The Death Star is pretty huge. I think it has gravity... well, EVERYTHING has gravity, but I reckon it has a pretty large gravitational pull. I doubt it had enough to have a multi-layered atmosphere, but whatever. Plus, we don't really know about life on other planets. If other life IS out there, they could easily be built to survive in much cooler or hotter conditions.Anyway, the pool thing was obviously a joke. If you watch part 2, he doesn't color is as a pool.

But it would be cool if you could do a different kind of environment, I'm very lost on how you can draw something not made out of straight lines with 2-point perspective.

I love yor videos. I learned the perspective with just one point of perspective coming from the center, that is very difficult for me, so I hated to do landscapes.. Now that you're so into backgrounds I'm really looking forward to seeing natural backgrounds (woods, lakes etc). But especially mountains. Vast mountanous backgrounds have always been my sort of Moby Dick -like nemesis. Even my fiancée (a far better artist than I am) is finding them very tricky to make look realistic enough.

Especially now after the release of Skyrim I believe quite many would like see snow-covered peaks stretching to the distance.

Like Bilbo would say, I want to see mountains.

@RawrIwilleatsoul33 I'm not trying to troll but the horizon line that he is talking about refers to the eye level of the viewer. The eye level won't always match up to where you are looking eg. if you are looking more down on something your horizon line wont even be on the page that you are drawing on. This starts leading you into three point perspective as well. However if I am way off in assuming that you were talking about this horizon line then I apologize.

Perhaps I am wrong and my eye for perspective is untrue to the actual nature of perspective lines, but looking at the diagonal plain of your death star wading pool, the bottom edge of that slope seems to be "off" in its direction. Speaking in terms of perspective more so than aesthetics, shouldn't the bottom edge of the diagonal slope be parallel to the top edge of the slope? Could you let me know if whether the problem lies in the design or in my eye for this perspective?

@TheAbstar96 Browse thru landscape wallpapers, you see there is one dimensional ones and two dimensional ones. If you are not copying nature or making it in ur own style, you have to decide anyway if ur pic is in 1 or 2 point. Both work, but which of those two is more related to your theme? That my friend, can't answer.

I was thinking maybe a 3-point perspective of a city. I've tried it before, but by the time I draw closer towards the vanishing points, the buildings look extremely disproportional to the buildings closer to the third point.
