if this is 360 did u press X or A 2 shoot. If this waz on PS3 did u press X to pass or Square

the default controls for the 360 are:

a= pass

b=shoot

y= through ball

X= cross

i held the finesse button, for 360 its RIGHT BUMPER and pressed SHOOT (B) twice

it's the shot modifier man, like you know the button you hold for curve shots.
