I like the way that the lady says careful in the video. It would have been very amusing if that was extended to be "Careful, that large TV cost me $8!"
Enjoy your tv man, what I got was a lil box hand delivered by a Woot employee, had deed to a private island in the Caribbean, I even gotta name it when I signed the deed it, and was given unlimited use of a woot corporate pilot and unlimited fly time and mini bar in the plane used - oh yeah the plane - my own private owned woot company jet with a logo on the side. All mine, all for like 5 bucks. Frakkin awesome.
congratulations on the TV!! Did it work? I just learned about WOOT today... LOL, guess I'm way behind the times . I signed up today... maybe I can win a bag of crap lol. Anyway I think its awesome and I hope it worked really great for ya'll!!! WOOT WOOT!
Fake. There's no way the TV would ship with the top part of the box loose from the bottom part. No shippin company would accept it like that. It would have to be bound together with some sort of strapping.
Not only that, but Woot has never sold a 65" LCD tv.
I'm also kinda skeptical, this seems like a bullshit video, i have seen 2 videos of people who got the pallets and what not and they never came like this and where the hell are the fed ex delivery guys? I think its illegal to have someone else remove their package, could possibly be a liability, this video is shit,
This was not sent FedEx. Woot used a freight service because the TV weighs over 250 pounds. It is in a truck all by itself because they forgot to deliver it and had to drop by late in the afternoon. Enjoy your skepticism and I'll enjoy my 65" TV. ^__^
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Really? Hmm the most recent guy who got a pallet his weighed over 500 pounds and yet fed ex delivered it, and again, wheres the delivery guy? waiting for you to get it out of teh truck? and damn you guys must be strong, pulling a tv weighing over 250 pounds across fucking concrete thats on a wooden pallet and yet it slid like it was on wheels, probably because the box is empty. so you enjoy your tv, that you paid full price for, and stop making fake boc videos
I think you're a little confused. The old guy in the red shirt is the truck driver. I'm the chick talking on camera. I don't know why FedEx delivered the last guy's stuff. Maybe because it was in multiple boxes, not one giant 500 pound box? This video was just one piece of something that was to show people at Woot TV. You've missed all the pictures and the letter. Still I'm the happy one with the TV and you're the troll.
@bmelnyk0 I know I am a little late to the party but hopefully I can shed some light on this confusing situation for you. The reason the Olivia came via truck (sekio) and not FedEx freight is because it exceeds the dimensions length wise to ship via FedEx, hence the truck. If you are wondering how I know all this amazing information... I work at woot and those yellow stickers on the box are in my handwriting!
@untcaptainc this..... Tvs are not hard to move I know I moved them but the dimensions due exceed the limit, a company I used to work for tried using fedex to ship something of similar size and fedex wouldn't take it thier trucks are to small.
@crazychief9876 That particular TV in the box, with the base weighs 200+ lbs. Go look it up... I'm glad you can carry that yourself, but I sure as hell can't.
@xavoc nice try you lying jack ass, just got my woot calendar from the previous woot off, yeh your no where near as close as to the person that got the largest boc, which included a 95 inch tv, a boba fett action figure, an aston martin, the actual car, not a model, and some other stuff, so yeah you just got a shit load of boxes of action figures taht are cheap and worthless
@PerkyPeanut I don't see why people Have the need to lie for attention, But I guess you just enjoy to do it. My buddy has a 62 inch and it wieghs 95 pounds it was delivered buy ups. . I am not being a skeptic just stating true fact.
Actually it probably isn't. Seeing as I've received a pallet of 1152 action figures. Woot price was $4.99 x 1152 = over $5,000 in product.
One person 2 months ago 2 46" TV's (one crushed) and surround system.
Same BoC I got my pallet had a person who received 400 buckets, another received a pallet with a slot machine, motorized wheelchair, and a bunch of other odds and ends. Someone else got a slot machine, arcade cabinet, microwave, and extras. Maybe 3-5 out of 1500 BoC's.
What would you expect? A $3000 television in every other $8.00 Woot Bag of Crap? One in a hundred???
No matter how I look at it, I've got to be impressed with the guy who came up with the concept. In 2005, he had 6 workers at his electronic store in Texas. Now, they sell hundreds of thousands of dollars of merchandise some days.
Has anyone ever considered that this isn't being delivered by.. oh i dunno.. a delivery service? Father and son (who, btw, took a long time to realize they should remove the heavy wooden pallet before carrying the tv) unload the TV from the back of a U-Haul and then claim its a BOC 'prize'?
Really? You must not know anything about logistics or how to ship/protect a package. You do know that this was sent through freight terminals that use forklifts to move product around.
Well, first of all your an idiot for not reading my comment correctly. I wasn't stating anything about the pallet not being a customary shipping practice. I was saying that the people in the video are dumb for not removing the pallet before transporting it from the truck to their house. Go back to school bud.
Congrats to you, lady!

@KyleScottt Uh, they're not lying... This thing is 231 lbs as-packed before the pallet is attached.
The TV and Stand alone on this TV weigh 200 lbs w/out packaging.
Type in Olevia 65 LCD woot.com into Google for the same information from Woot's website.
