  • We should have hovercrafts by now... dang it! Kip

  • I would like to see how it works under my defender trail car.

We drive extreem terrain with it Thats why we need extreem prfile on the tyres.

Are you gone make such a tweel as well...?

Would love to see and test that...

  • If production cars had this it would be much safer but i do think they need sidewalls for high speed turns like avoiding a crash . But police could not put down spikes , so then they would use engine shut down tec . How do u feel about that

  • What's taking it so long! This video was posted in 08', I thought I would have seen these already?!

    Thanks IMGUR! :D

  • @PINOYREBEL91 The tire industry is most likely holding back the development of the tweel. The tweel would drastically reduce the loss of tires due to road hazard and improper inflation. This would kill future business. Why would they destroy their own industry? For the tire companies money > safety and value to customers

  • @mistaediee actaully it wouldnt kill the industry because when the treads are gone your gonna have to get a new tire

  • Is there an outer cover on these and these are just cutaways to show the concept? If not it seems like a great place for mud/snow etc to build up and throw your tires way out of balance.

  • @captainpudding

It's just to show the concept.

  • At least some real tires. Not that bouncy balloon bullshit.

  • No more baller wheels!!!????!!!???? F%$% That!!!

  • it looks bad ass and fuck a pot hole it can take 8 grams of C4 and still get you to the nearest tire shop lol

  • can u burn out? or go off jumps or do off roading? or will they break?

  • The cops will be mad, their spike track stuff will not work anymore.

anyone agree? please reply this comment

  • @lillskiten1337 You need friends.

  • so what happens when you get dirt in the side and the tires off balance?

  • hey that land rover is out...revealed

  • if the rolling resistance is 5 percent less how can these guys claim the are more efficient

  • @hun4u82 They give the vehicle better fuel efficiency... rolling resistance = bad

  • Will it blend? That is the question!

  • Re-inventing the wheel lol

  • Re-inventing the tire, really. Otherwise, the tire would also have to be considered a reinvention of the wheel...

  • i would like two tweels bonded to my feet and turn myself into a human powered vehicle....very cool idea!!!

  • I want them on my car !!!

  • I taught i saw a TWEEL. lol

  • when the tread wears out u can just replace the tread u dont need to replace the whole thing..gees people dont u people listen?

  • cool...

  • LOL? This a decade old Swedish invention. Hope Michelin at least payed him something for it before labeling it "Michelin Invention".

  • its about time they thought of something like this.

  • what happens when the tread wears out?

  • Would you be able to buy a new rubber ring, or the whole frame?

  • My question exactly. If you have to buy a whole new aluminum rim each time it completely wears out, I wouldn't buy it. I also hope that conventional tires stay in production. I own a classic and these things wouldn't look right on it.

  • when the tread wears out u can just replace the tread u dont need to replace the whole thing.. they just re-cap it
