If production cars had this it would be much safer but i do think they need sidewalls for high speed turns like avoiding a crash . But police could not put down spikes , so then they would use engine shut down tec . How do u feel about that
@PINOYREBEL91 The tire industry is most likely holding back the development of the tweel. The tweel would drastically reduce the loss of tires due to road hazard and improper inflation. This would kill future business. Why would they destroy their own industry? For the tire companies money > safety and value to customers
Is there an outer cover on these and these are just cutaways to show the concept? If not it seems like a great place for mud/snow etc to build up and throw your tires way out of balance.
My question exactly. If you have to buy a whole new aluminum rim each time it completely wears out, I wouldn't buy it. I also hope that conventional tires stay in production. I own a classic and these things wouldn't look right on it.
We should have hovercrafts by now... dang it! Kip

Re-inventing the wheel lol
hsv6ltr 2 years ago
Re-inventing the tire, really. Otherwise, the tire would also have to be considered a reinvention of the wheel...
