Seeing that his comment was directed towards Rachael Nichols, he was in effect, condemning the writer of GI-JO and suggesting that the movie was shit. If anybody has the right to condemn other writers / directors, its Quentin. - after all, he is the best director / script writer of his era.

@omfgpie I agree, any director or screen writer should say that they're proud of their scripts that they've worked on, but when Quentin said that he was proud of his scripts at that time, he was implying that the screen writers for G.I. Joe weren't proud of the script for the film, which explains why it was kept secret even during auditions. It was WHEN Quentin said that which got the crowd upset.

OOH MY! Did he just say what i thought he said? That's wrong... he should not be proud of the scripts he writes. That shows his huge ego. He's way to over confident and should be shot down. I hope he one day learns false modesty like the other directors in Hollywood.
