hi..anybody can answer my question? i have cleft lip..since birth..i can speak clearly..and i'm finish for the operation when i was in 5 yrs. old but i'm not satisfied because some of people are trying to insult me..because its obvious..so thats why i feel ashame..my question is there's a chance to having a normal lip like others? is there's a operation for that? i'm 17 yrs. old..thats all! thanks!

Google Cleft Palate Clinics in your state and then call the contact person to arrange for a visit to a clinic. At the clinic you'll be evaluated by a plastic surgeon who specializes in these types of repairs. He will give you his opinion on possible lip revision surgery.

I agree, you have to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon. Don't ever feel ashamed of your cleft. You are perfect they way you are and if people can't see the real you, they aren't worth being around. Good luck and God Bless.
