this film is so crazy in how similiar yet exact opposites the characters of Billy and Colin are

their both rats, but their for entirely different kind of rats

they both love Madolyn, yet while Colin doesn't want to display her pictures, Billy hangs them up higher.

one of the little things in this film i think is that only the good guys can have sons, so it's no question who Madolyn's child's father will be

This is a great video!! I have been a huge fan of this movie and have always loved the relationship the two of them shared in it. I wish more people would make Billy and Madolyn movies. Leo is so cute!!

Leo as Billy is soooo amazing. I wasn't a fan of his until I saw this movie (and i always thought he looked a little feminine) but this movie made me reconsider. It was WOW. (Blood Diamond too, which i watched after this one).

Of course Scoresse did it on purpose. Can you imgaine the regret, the loss, and realization of actually how real the connection was with Billy after he was gone, as she put the pieces of that time of her life together.

In many ways the Departed is really Madolyn's story and the narrative logic of that is the baby is Costigin's.

yay! sooooo good! just what i was looking for in a billy+madolyn video. my one wish is that you had shown the clip of when they first kiss when she's sitting on the counter one time through without chopping it up, because i think it's the sweetest part when he moves into her and that got cut out. my favorite part was how you showed the black and white flashback about the picture. so good!!!
