@180clown bowflex is good but a barbell dumbell set is better to bulk up. Stick to compound exercises like Benches presses rows curls squats. Don't overtrain and eat good. Big arms are great but strive for balance in your gains. Good luck.

I have that bowflex Ultimate2 and no dumbells at all :/ 30 Seconds rest between excercises/4 Sets each Pushups/10 Reps Bench Press/100 lb/10 Reps Tricep Pushdowns/60 lb/12 Reps Standing Bicep Curl/15 lb/15 Reps Pull Ups/5 Reps Seated Lat Pull Downs /100 lb/ 10 Reps Seated Lat Rows/100 lb/10 Reps Crunches/15 Reps Jog 30 min Is there anything majorly
nice tips but you referred to other videos like scooby body building... Just look like you are not providing tips you are referring to others..... :-(
never would listen to anyone who cant do it themselves. im a bodybuilder, and i'm pretty sure you should of talked about diet.. its half of building muscle.
@Evilcyber hey i wanted to start working out to lose weight...but ive been thinking ...i dont want to get the gorilla type of body...like those huge hunchbacks sort of... i wanted like a regular ripped body..waht r ur suggestions
man im gonna be honest with u im 13 but my right arm is stronger then the left cus im right handed and bmx and race alot with my bike so i had to loosen and tighten stuff with it and sadly am a very poor family but don't like working out in public but have a weight bench on the back porch i rarely use do u have any suggestions for helping me get the left arm to a equal strength? and if u would feel like u can give me more advice ill get a video of the weight bench if u want thanks man
@dukez9204 In my opinion that's simply too many isolations. Rather do more compounds where the biceps works along and only do one or two biceps isolations. That should in the end result in a much better looking arm, where shoulder, biceps, triceps and forearms go well together.
I'm about to start at the gym. I'm in my mid forties, diabetic, and while I'm a pretty strong man, my core strength is pathetic from years of neglect. Doctor is all for this. I have a state of the art gym at my disposal, and finally the desire. What I lack is experience. I'm also heavy and need to lose some weight. What do you recommend for a "soft-body" to get me started. I can't afford a trainer at this point, so I'm trying to figure this out on my own. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
@broot4u One of your major concerns should be your nutrition - as a diabetic you have to carefully watch it and be on the lookout for any changes that come from starting to work out and you should discuss this with your doctor.
Other than that, my general advice is the same: Slowly ease into it and slowly up the stakes. See my videos for beginner push-ups and pull-ups and the beginner workout.
And btw, I think it's a great idea that you plan to become more active.
Great information, great video. + Subscription. +Like. Finally understand while Scooby speaks german at end of his videos. :) Would love to see some 30-40 min. instructional video/DVD workout from you guys, something for home, bodyweight and for begginers. (*cought*) Keep ut the good work.
The video is very instructing. But when I saw the uploading date a lot of memories came to my mind, it's the date my father died...June 24, 2010...of course is not your fault... I just wanted to share it.
@Evilcyber Yeah, People are fed up about the American and the British accent, so I am always attracted to the other English accents. Your voice is very clear and your accent is spicing it up. Any body who likes exercise techniques, he/she will benefit this video. Good job.
This is so unrealistic, Ive been working out for a month, saw difference in my chest after a week and now my arms has gotten way bigger than they were before. This is reality, saying that I should notice anything after first 6months, is UNREALISTIC. I mean, wtf? okay not to get our hopes up but you dont have to kill the hope. And judging by your physic, your not really so far from a beginner yourself
@Xknudsen: I suppose if you're 18 and noticed a difference after just a couple of months (I'm 19 and noticed the same), then it makes sense - your body is still in the process of development (up until about 25 years of age for men). Good luck!
Hey im just startin out, getting ready for the beach. This really helped Subscribed!

@clockwork624 Heah clock, about your asymmetry problem I actually have a video: Do a search for "muscle asymmetry"; it should come up pretty high.
And about that money-problem: I think you just gave me a great idea for a video.

@Evilcyber I have a question.
how many workouts should you do for your biceps.
I do chin ups, 21's, dumbbell curls and concentrated curls.
Chin ups I do as much as possible and 3 sets, and the other 3, 8-12 reps and 3 sets.
Is that good enough or too much?
dukez9204 10 months ago
@dukez9204 In my opinion that's simply too many isolations. Rather do more compounds where the biceps works along and only do one or two biceps isolations. That should in the end result in a much better looking arm, where shoulder, biceps, triceps and forearms go well together.

@tookonehourtogetthis you didn't notice a difference in your chest after a week you're talking rubbish
Obsidian1392 1 year ago
@tookonehourtogetthis He doesn't have to look like a professional body builder to be one!
Alot of times you see people at the gym lifting very heavy weights and they have those huge muscles! WELL THOSE COULD BE BEGINNERS ALSO!
Because they don't know what they're doing and probably doing it with bad form.
A real body builder knows exactly what he's doing!
