  • But this isn't a radial motor ;-)

  • @cyberOwwwOecho It is a 190D, meaning it had an inline.

  • I just had mine out today after not flying for 9 yrs ... I have to say it's still an awesome flying plane on rails ,and the flaps let you come in real steep on landings .Mine weighs 12lbs and an OS 91 Surpass flies it around no prob at all .That YS91 must really haul it around !

  • The cowling fits great and is robust like a tank. I have a 20oz tank in mine so I have plenty of flight time. Flies great but I need to replace the air retracts, they are old and don't lock. Makes landings a bit interesting. Other than that I love the bird

  • Nicely done . How well does the cowl fit? I bought one for $49 in 1979 from Tower Hobbies. It has flown for last 28 years, first with an O.S .61 SF then with Saito .91 four stroke. I lost the cowl about ten years back. Very fine design. Tank space is shameful though and a side mounted engine would be best, which is not possible with wooden engine bearers that are part of the nose structure.

  • I have the same plane invert the engine for shiite sakes
