I filmed the video using a standard photography tripod but with a mobile phone tripod adapter I purchased from eBay. Just do a search in eBay for an iPhone 4 tripod and there should be a whole heap of results.
The only problem I had was making sure each shot was level, but this was easily achieved by lining up the phone with the horizon or anything that was vertically straight.
