  • thanks for commenting on the right the handed situation. I am left handed and had a hard time following the directions that came with the kit.

  • I just got a great stocking hat pattern from knittingpatternoftheday (.) com and Grandma Nutt is adorable!

  • Loom knitting is nice for certain things, but I still prefer to knit with needles. I find needles to be a lot more versatile. If your stitches aren't coming out the way you like (too big or too close together), you might also try switching to a larger or smaller needle to get a different effect. The smaller you go, the more "fabric-like" your stitches will be. I don't crochet, but I've heard that crocheting makes "chunkier" knits than knitting needles.

  • now you get 4 for 11 dollars. my sister loom knits

  • Memories! I agree with Lindareena. I had one that was the size of a bracklet on which I made dresses for my Barbie. (In the 60's you could wear anything :) The other loom I used as a kid, had only about 6 prongs on it. It made great jump ropes! I was so excited about making something :) Thanks for being it all back Mikey!!

  • I know what ya mean about the loom, I love mine. there are still alot of things i like to do crocheted!

  • I have all the round and the oblong looms. Love them. It is NOT the lazy way. Itis just another method of knitting.

  • Awesome! I tried loom knitting. But I find it easier to hand knit with circular and double-pointed needles. If you do not know how to knit already, then loom knitting may be the way to go.

  • Hi Mikey, this loom is reminding me of a "toy" I had when I was a kid...called "The Little Red Spinning Wheel"

which I loved and wish I still had....it was made of plastic (probably in the 60s)...they should put a new one back on the market for kids...thanks for making this video, I have been wondering how those looms are ;-)

  • I tried loom knitting to no avail. My stitches were waayyyy too loose to even look like it was anything other than a ball of yarn. I tried to do it tighter but it was too tight to get off the peg..... What's the secret to getting your tension right?

  • I love loom knitting For x-mas I make hats and scafs

  • That is just lovely with the loom attached there Michael!!! LOLOLOLO. I just might have to try this out. Looks pretty interesting.

  • I will be waiting for you to explain this to me...I have an oblong one, and just haven't been able to figure it out..I think the person who wrote the instructions was on Crack or something!!
