While LInux is a fantastic operating system and I love running it. Saying it is safer isn't technically true. There are plenty of exploits for Linux but because of the limited adoption it isn't worth making use of them.

Also being safe isn't the be all and end all of Linux's potential maybe try pushing the FOSS side of Linux and the stability.

You have a point, but again - I'd say it's safer, not because it's some miracle as someone could imagine but because of the large, active community.

Even if a new exploit is found, it wont take more than a day or two to get fixed and the next day there will be only few Linux systems in the world which are outdated because of the good updating system.

And as you said, there are many other, much more important, advantages of Linux - first of all FOSS.
