OMG! Thanks SO MUCH for uploading this nearly forgotten, highly underrated, & practically unobtainable, ultra rare gem of a movie! I bought a used VHS @ a Block Buster clearance sale, @ least 10yrs ago, when everybody was switching to DVD. Unfortunately my VCR "ate it". I can't believe this film was never released on DVD. I have wanted to see it again for so long, but I refuse to pay $50-$100 for a used 20+yo VHS. Words can't even begin to describe my thankfulness!
i used to watch this movie all the time. i had forgotten all about it till i looked up on imdb for robert englund and it listed this movie on his filmography. i loved this movie and still do. thanks for posting it.
I used to have IMDB Pro and from memory i think yes, this was the only one they did. Which is why it is so hard to track down the rights holder to petition this for DVD release. Sanrio was dissolved not long after the film was made - a matter of years.
This movie, along with Purple Hearts, and A Rumor Of War, is among the greatest of forgotten Vietnam films. I have wanted to see this for years. Thanks for the upload!
I cant thank you enough for posting this movie. I use to watch this back when you you only had 4 channels. I have been trying to rent it everywhere but most places never even heard of this movie. Brings me back to my childhood. thanks again
Been looking for this movie forever. Watched it when I was just a young teen & wanted to see it as an adult. I remember it was a real tear-jerker.

At 0:26, I noticed a Sanrio logo. Was this the only live-action movie Sanrio produced?

Sorry to correct you, I don't think Sanrio was dissolved itself, but it was their film division that was dissolved.
