I rarely drink soda. Thanks to my mom, she almost never had it in the house. If we did it was leftovers from a party or family reunion we had. So now I only drink soda at parties/ family gatherings, its not something I turn to when I'm thirsty. Its way too sweet to quench thirst. Even though they're always saying how bad soda is for you, soo many people buy tons of it. I know this cause I work at a supermarket and about every 2-4 customers buy at least 1 liter of soda.
Yeah but wine is bad for you because your putting alcohol in your body. My uncle used to drink a glass of red wine every day and he got a stroke..... i think water is better than all the choices you gave......
@atenasadri25 Wine does have anti-oxidants in it and if you are at a social event (and 21 or over) or are celebrating, wine is better for you than hard liqueur. Likely your uncle had other factors involved that=n a glass of wine a day. I also know a 94 year old who drinks a glass of port or wine everyday at 5pm. And yes - water is always number one, which I do recommend.
LOVED this video! I always enjoy them. I have had a white wine spritzer and they ARE wonderful. I think mine was wine/gingerale at a bridal shower. Delish! I used to enjoy the Reisling wines from Germany - sweet. I do have a large sweet tooth! LOL Thank you!
Also I got rid of my centrifugal jet engine juicer and bought an omega vert350 masticating juicer. It is fabulous. I don't drink bottled juice or pop or alcohol. Usually my morning juice consists of apple, carrot, ginger, kale, collards, spinach, celery, cucumber, romaine, or any dark green lettuce, parsley red peppers and anything else I can find in the fridge. Once you drink this juice and feel the effects. Never drink bottled juice again.
I drink about 2 liters of water a day. When I was a kid it used to be 2 liters of whatever soda there was in the house. Now I can't even go a day without water since I feel completely thirsty. Other drinks than water don't help me get rid of thirst ánd I sleep a zillion times better when I drank enough water.
In my opinion everyone should drink water all the time.
I have a question; you said 1 glass of red wine a day is a healthy amount. So is wine something I should add to my diet. I don't drink any alcohol but is wine something that would be beneficial to me in the long run? And if so how many glasses do you think I should have a week?
@Baggravation Wine has antioxidants in it and some people think it is healthy to drink a glass a day. But not having wine is also great and I would not want to get somebody drinking wine if they don't already do so.
You're right about the fruit--It's better to eat the actual fruit than to have it in juice form. Fruit juice contains a lot of fructose sugar, which is bad in large quantities since it can take a toll on your liver's ability to process it. Long story short, it can lead to diabetes, heart disease, and weight gain.
Teas are also something to look into since they can have great medicinal properties. Right now I love Ginger tea in the organic Yogi brand.

@GabriellePictures I agree, nothing quenches a thirst like water! That is because water is what your body is always asking for.

Be careful with the V8; it's loaded with sodium.

@Baggravation Yes that is true, but it at least has mostly good ingredients.

@Baggravation I believe there are low(er) sodium varities (:
