Just listened to the entire concert again downloaded from DreamingTree. Dave actually mentions these idiots standing up and talking. Before #41, he tells Tim "Yeah, they're talking the whole time" and makes fun of them a bit. I'm guessing they sat down after that humiliation.
yeah why would you go to a dave show and expect to have a good time, maybe even good enough to feel the need to get up and groove. Thankfully and hopefully most people that are dave fans dont feel the same way as you tight wads
@Davegb175 When you're the only one getting up and "grooving," as you put it, you look like an idiot. And I know for a fact I'm not the ony Dave fan who feels this way. There was an entire group of us at this show commenting on this one idiot girl who insisted on "grooving" and blocking our view. The selfishness of people who are so "moved" that they just have to "groove" astounds me.
Totally agree. What's the point of standing when it's just Dave & Tim? Is standing going to magically make the entire concert better? It was so inconsiderate of everyone there that I actually felt bad for D & T. And it must have been so inspiring to them to see three people in their face talking TO EACH OTHER through the entire song. Way to go fans. Not everyone of course. I'm amazed that they still do these concerts after the way the audience has been acting like morons for years!!
@sherbs2011 Hey man, music is about expression, and if that's the way someone reacts to it, so be it, they are feelin it, the people who sit down, shut up and don't move are lonely assholes who are afraid to come out of their shell.
At D&T concerts, you sit. If you don't, you're an inconsiderate jerk. I cannot stand the lone girl who is so "moved" by the music she has to stand up and dance alone like an idiot. Sit down people - you have less chance of your nose running into someone else's fist.
@TheOnlyGodIsZeus I hear you. One show I went to and the audience stood the whole time. Dave kept asking them to sit down but the hardheaded folks just wouldn't listen. It was such an awful experience, I wrote the fan website that told them about it. I was looking at the backs of two very tall inconsiderate guys. It's common that when the whole band plays we stand but when it's just Dave and Tim then it's good etiquette to sit. Because the setting is more calmer and intimate.
the one dude- though only 4 feet away- has a large speaker between dave and himself... i would definitely stand and also definitely ignore those behind me if i were in his position
I got to heard this on the phone thanks to a good friend who was there that night! Lovely to see it come back, would've been awesome full band but this was a good treat!
