There are a whole bunch of different charities they go to, to help out needy children for christmas. But most of them go to the Calgary Alberta Childrens Hospital.

I thought as much. Fantastic idea, I saw some photos of the event and a lot of them were wrapped in plastic to protect them from the ice/water. Still the most amazing spectacle and coolest charity thing I've ever seen.
