  • you are exceptional!

  • I am trying to find a video on a TIRE change to send to a friend not a tube change!

  • this is quite good...

  • Well done!

  • does anyone else think he looks like bud bundy?

  • Should one be careful in removing the back wheel so as not to upset the cogset? Does removal of the wheel require readjusting of the cogset? Is this even an issue? I just don't want to have to pay to get my gears readjusted is all. A reply would be nice (or personal message for that matter).

  • when does he actually change the tire though?

  • nipple holes???

  • Put the inner tube in shallow water and check for bubbles to find the puncture easier.

  • This video is mislabeled - it shows how to change a *tube*, not the tire

  • why am i having a hard time folding the last part of the tire over the rim

  • You don't need the tyre levers for anything. Waste of time and money.

  • do what the real pros do get a car to follow u with spare tire that has cassette rim inner and tire and just snap them in place

  • its also best to fill up your tire when its on the bike. that way you can inspect the bead while its spinning to see if its seated correctly.

  • Great simple (or it looks simple) video. I have a lot of trouble reinstalling the tire, but I have tougher Specialized tires to avoid flats. maybe those minimal tread tires are softer?

    Thanks for posting!

  • thanks, it's been so long since I rode a bike, and had to change a tire. I'm buying a used bike with a friciton drive engine on the rear tire. So I may have to change a two or three tires a year. I heard that there are tires that are better for this system, if anyone knows I would appreciate a tip?

  • The idea of searching for the puncture in the tube itself and then using it as a reference for seeking the problem with the tire or wheel is great and none of the four tutorials that I watched before this one mentioned it. Thanks!

  • If you live in snake country, be careful when checking for the cause of the flat. You may wish to use a rag to check for sharp things in the tire.

  • Before inserting the new tube, inflate it a little bit to make it easier to handle and avoid folding.

  • @nasenbaer06 and so the bead seats corrrectly and the tube doesn't explode

i've had a first hand experiance

  • Cool video nice im going to try it tomorrow!

  • thanks for the video, my first tire chanfe ever and only took me 2 1/2 total manhours!!! I know thats pitaful but I had a very stubborn tire

  • Should of gotten a foldable tire. I believe you used a wire bead tire. Foldable tires are a lot easier because it stretches a little bit.

  • Simple yet neat and professionally done. Good tips and really helpful. Thanks!
