sounds beautiful man. one question though, i have the same camera as you now, how to get such a good framerate? my seems to stutter alot. and it seems to strugle to keep up with me.
That's quite a nice arrangement. I've not given much to traditional Irish folk music... I believe I may have had my interest kindled by this piece. Care to post the tab for all us dreamers.... I mean learners.
that would sound great from the bottom of the well in my basement. You could probably come up with all kinds of cool tunes if you spent some time down in the hole as I call it. good stuff as always. It puts the lotion on its skin
No kidding...when I hear you play that song it makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Must be the same Irish gene's that caused my Mother and daughter to have red hair. Even though Mom's grandmother was Cherokee. I instantly liked this song when I first heard it. Is this a old song ?
Greetings from Toronto. I'm a little older than you, but only playing guitar for the past 3 years. It was a revelation for me to discover your YouTube lessons. They're excellent I love 'em. But as the song says: Your lovin' gives me a thrill, but your lovin' don't pay my bills... So. I like your version of Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore so much I'd be glad to pay you for a tab of it. Think we could work something out?
You are an inspiration to me! :) i've been playing guitar for around 6 years, just basic rock stuff really and some acoustic songs. I've been looking out for people who are playing beyond just strummy chords hoping i can pick up a tip or two. I have to say this is a beautiful composition... :) nice!
For some reason my comment on this song appeared under the comments for another song. I love both of them. In fact, I love all of them. It's got that Irish feel--very Northern-like.
Wish I could play guitar half as well out on a porch in a cabin by the moutains alone ahahaha. Five stars again man!
This song has a special meaning to me, for at the age of 15 years, 4 months, and 5 days I myself caught the Ferry from Dublin and crossed the Irish sea...
(The lyrics are from the "Horslips" version of the song.
I'm so happy you posted this one on youtube! I am honored to have been able to play with you and Sandhill Session that one time this spring. Your version of this song will always be my favorite!
Amazing cover. I love how you intertwined your own style in with it. I absolutely love this song. Great job. Do you think you could send me a link or copy of your tab? That would be awsome. Keep up the great work.

@twittheshred Mine does that too if the lighting is too dark. It works best during the day for me when I get extra light.

It should be called "Sawlon's Shamrocks"...beautiful lilting song played masterfully. If the Gaelic language could
be spoken via guitar, it would sound like this.
Masterful and Soothing!
Encore!

"In early spring, when small birds sing, and lambkins sport and play
My way I took, my friends forsook, and came to Dublin Bay
I entered as a passenger, and to England I sailed o'er
I bade farewell to all my friends, and I left the Shamrock shore...
