Thanks for posting this, I enjoyed it very much! Oh yes, of course there are those of us who appreciate Bach. I have been listening to and loving this Partita now for almost forty years. Do you have a performance of the 6th Partita in E-minor? That is also one of my favorites among the Partitas. I'll check your site. Thanks again!
Why not ask your teacher for something more obscure? You've got time, right? I'm doing three movements from the Third Partita; no reason not to try one of the later three.
I'll try to come up with some critique at another time. I'm not at my full concentration right now.
I must say...I never appreciated this music as much as it deserves...especially one's ability to memorize the details! Very impressive and well done!!
Not to nitpick, but the bass chords in the introduction should be played like... trils or whatever they call it.

Fantastic again. I commented a while ago on your other Bach piece- it's nice hearing this one - sinceit has the drama in it I presume you like. :)

Very good! The left hand part should stand out a bit more in the fugue (in my humble opinion!), but I liked it very much!

Obscure..? As in...dark? :S
I'd love to try some more varieties of repertoire, but my teacher apparently thinks I have enough on my plate -___-
Not your full concentration? How come..?
Starry9Angel 3 years ago
Obscure as in not as often played. Pieces like...Chopin's First Sonata.
My concentration suffers when I don't rest/sleep enough.
Robotman42 3 years ago
Oh. Haha...well, I really don't know...because my teacher generally picks pretty well-known stuff for me (easier to teach, maybe?)..
Right..of course...how many hours do you generally sleep? I find that there's a huge differenc between 7 1/2 hrs and 8 hrs...:S
