I definitely agree that Season 9 sucked, it would have been so much better if Katelyn, Lilly, Janell, Tyler, Joe and Alex were in the Top 12 instead of Katie, Lacey, Paige, Tim, Aaron and Andrew, they totally fucked things up with these contestants going home before the Top 12

Katelyn singing "The Scientist" put me under her spell. It was magic. Pure and beautiful. Would it be faster it would have lost its charm. She has a great voice and the judges definitely underrated her.

i really think idol should chage there format so that you can come back if you dont get into top 10 after top 24. its not fair that 14 singers cant come back. or dont have a top 24, just go into the top 10

Simon always talked about a "magic moments" on American Idol and this was the Best "Magic Moment" that ever took place in my opinion....Don't know what the judges were thinking or the audience. I presume the Audience listened to the negativity of the judges rather than Katelyn's performance...If they (audience/and judges) could have given her more positive reviews and better song choices like this one she may have won the entire competition. She's had dope vocals!

For me this is the single best "live" performance (the lip synching so many artists do does't count) I've ever heard... some of the best out there like Sarah Mclachlan, etc. don't sound that great live. I was expecting the judges to absolutely love it, but they didn't.

Katelyn, I don't know if you read youtube posts, but Ellen couldn't have gotten it more wrong. Yes, you slowed it down a little, but you HAD to do this to achieve the emotional impact that your interpretation had. I think that Simon was a little off too with his "corny" comment. There was *nothing* corny about that performance! It was very moving.

I'll make a prediction: At the end of the season there will be two women standing, & you'll be one of them! I hope you know how lovely YOU are!
