The GAA the sporting wing of the IRA. How can anyone take th GAA serious when they helped fund the teror gangs of the IRA in the recent sectarian troubles in N. Ireland. The GAA from top to bottom is awash with IRA terrorist. . No other sporting body in the world has such a black and shady history. The GAA is a semi political/religious terror funding body that has sullied the name of sport in Ireland.
@bapfontein GAA has nothing to do with the IRA you idiot! The GAA is about Nationalism, not Sectarianism. Im a GAA fan all my life but i dont support the IRA. Besides, you telling me that combat 18 and the skinheads dont exist in the FA? Dont be foolish!
person slaggings so NO you have NOT proved a point on anything. I do recognise the church had involvement in the GAA as it had in education in Ireland - I know my own club saying is UP THE PARISH! but unlike what you seem to think the GAA welcomes all Creeds and Colours into the fold. Maybe you should learn to be more tolerant of other peoples choices. As i said before Bapfontein you should learn to love and rid yourself of all this hate you carry for no obvious reason!
Bapfontein what are you crappy about?? You say GAA/IRA when their is no straight link. Of course people who were in the IRA or IRB were members as it is their national sport! Same way as the UVF and other loyalist groups would be members of soccer clubs - does that make me think that all soccer members terrorists?? NO because I have a brain and can think logically as you obviously can't even when it is spelt out to you! You go on to slate the church and again I reply but you only come back with
All you speak is British Propaganda Bapfontein. I do not know what age you are but I hope you are a little young teenager as then you may have some hope of growing up and understanding not everything you read in a paper or see on the news is true.
Go out and educate yourself you ignornant little bigot (difference in me saying it is I actually understand the meaning of the words)
I am bored of your petty little comments of which you obviously have no clue!
molliecGAA/IRA lover , time after time you are caught out in your double speak , spin and lies , and what do you do when I RUBBISH your lies, spin and double speak, you revert to abuse and want to shoot the messenger. You hate people like me who know the real truth of the links between the depraved and corrupt Catholic Church, violent IRISH NATIONALISIM and the GAA. The image you want potrayed of the GAA is one were all links to the CATHOLIC CHURCH and IRA are air brushed out.
Bapfontein you need to remember just because you write the most curse words of slaggings does not mean you win the argument!! I can be as petty as you if I wanted and resort to name calling but I know my history and I know my countries history and the GAAs history.
So you should go get a proper hobby!!
By the way this weeks fixture in Croke Park is set to be a sell-out and we arent even out of the provincials. So show's how little you actually know.
mollie GAA/IRA lover and expert on all things GAA/IRA. Why does the GAA call many of it GAA/IRA cllubs , trophies, events , and allows Republicans the free run of many of their clubs during the recent sectarian conflict.
Rugby would be the same with rules on their players. So stop burying your head if you think it is just the GAA. You need to also remember unlike both named before, GAA players play for pride not money!! It has been said before that Non GAA people sometimes mistake it's conservatism for bigotry but most people would at least research a bit before writing 10 comments on a website! So again I ask who is the BIGOT??
dogs bollocks , Rugby would be the same with rules on their players. Rugby and Football as regards the pro ranks would not like their top players to get involed with any other sport because of injury etc. But you rotten ginger haired fenian lying cunt , can never equate
that with the GAA anti FORIGN GAMES rule, that was soley based on anti English bigotory and racisim and the fear that CATHOLIC youth likeing for Football and Rugby..
Bapfontein get down off your pedistole before I knock you off it. You say we are anto-Protestant? The Sam Maguire cup is named after Sam Maguire (funnily enough) who was Protestant! So as I said before LEARN YOUR FACTS!
BY the way Ginger is hardly an original slagging and again another English lesson for you PADDY is how the word is spelt not PADDIE. And so what if we have rules to be kept so does every organisation! Soccer players aren't allowed play an other sports that can cause injury.
mollie you fenian ginger haired liar and IRA /GAA lover, Sam Maguire was a Protestant , sure everyone knows that , but fuck sake ginger , you have to trawl back a century to find a Protestant involed with the GAA/IRA. Their was another baldy bastard who was also a Protestant of sorts , JACK something or other. That cunt can be excused as he was married into fenians and got a knock on the head once from a traffic accident . Now that brings the number up to 2 , ah yes then we had the p1
The more I find out about the GAA , make me wonder how on earth could such a bgoted bunch of neocon Catholic ,anti Protestant IRA loveing buch of parasites ever get to where they are today. It s little wonder a Irish Football official called Croke Park , a shrine to bigotory. Fucking spot on he was.
You need to learn to love Bapfontein. If you ever feel like educating yourself to the facts let me know. I'll bring you to my GAA club and show you around. With enough notice I can get you tickets for a game at Croker too. Show you how our games do not need to be segregated like some. Also back to your original point, if the GAA was so staunch anti-other sports why did we change Rule 42 and allow our national team play in Croker? I'll tell you because we are NOT BIGOTS like you believe!
Are you in denial or what you ginger haired thick PADDIE. The GAA parasites are not anti other sports . The lying , cheating ,scummy bastards have spent th last 100 hundred years demonising the global games of RUGBY and FOOTBALL. You silly ginger haired cunt , they had rules to show how much hate they had for these games . One rule (42) forbids the playing of so called forign games ( meaning FOOTBALL and RUGBY) on any GAA property. The other only scrapped a few decades ago forbid any p1
p2 GAA member from , playing , spectating, or invlovement in games deemed forign by the GAA. Who do you think your trying to fool with the lie that the GAA has changed rule 42, Rule 42 has been removed to allow Football and Rugby to be played at Croke Park , whilst the redevelopment of Landsdowne Rd takes place. Its removal does not apply to one other single GAA property other than Croke Park, and will include again Croke Park when Football and Rugby return to L,DOWNE rd.
historty or do you mean history? Your capital letters do not threaten me if that is what your desired effect is Bap. To inform you I am Irish and proud to be - I even have red hair!! I would consider myself republican and do think it is a shame that we do not speak Gaelige as our first language but unlike you seem to be, I am also a pacifist (need an explanation, let me know) and I am not an instigator of hate.
I'll give you the English lesson you obviously never received in whatever hole you crawled out of. Parasite is defined as 'An organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host'. Bigot is defined as 'one who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ'. Read back over both our comments and see who this relates more to! Give you a hint - look in the mirror!!
Mollie22 , You will give me a English lesson lol. Sur boy , I thought all you big GAA /IRA loveing PADDIES, hated all things English. Sure boy should you not be giveing me a IRISH lesson. Save your lessons Paddy or Bridget , whatever you are , I dont need any lessons in the meaning of Bigot , or Parasite. Your GAA/IRA fools no one , their is a world of documented facts abouts it links to the CATHOLIC CHURCH, and REPUBLICIAN /NATIONALIST politics. It maybe a historty lesson you need.
No self respecting? In other words if I name some Protestant members you will say they aren't self respecting. Bapfontein wipe your mouth because you are talking SH*T!! You are the reason for divides in communities! Ignorance and bigots are both sides of any dispute. You need to grow up and rewatch the video as you are the only one who seemed to see as anything but a celebration of 125 years of a great national sport! As 1 of the 84,000 who attended I can tell you it was a great one.
mollie22 your oul rotten fenian Catholic,iRA lloveing GAA , for over a century has denied the right of children in virtually all Catholic Church controlled schools in Ireland the right to play Football and Rugby , as part of orginised school sports. Your oul rotten to the core GAA ,has spent the last 100 years deamonising Football and Rugby , amongst the Irish youth The GAA was born out of bigotry and hatred for all thing deemed English or British. A bigoted bunch of parasites.
As for your blatant problem with Catholic, Obviously there has been big problems with some of the schools run, which I would under no circumstances condone. The fact is without the church the majority of Irish people would have had no education. Did you go to catholic school? If not - maybe if you had you would be able to spell better today!! It is not even asked when joining the GAA if you are Catholic - so pull your head in if you do not know that facts. Which you obviously don't
Mollies22 You can deny untill your blue in the face, the GAA is a Irish Catholic run sporting.religious /political body. They name their gronds etc, after BISHOPS, PRIEST, Irish Nationalist, TERROR GANG members , the whole ethos of the GAA is geared towards the Irish Catholic Nationalist/republican community. Why is it then that no self respecting members of the Protestant community anywhere in all of Ireland have anything what soever to do wuth the GAA?.
Are you even Irish? Terror Gang members? Either you are STUPID or IGNORANT! I am not sure which is worse. If you are Irish I would urge you to study your country's history or are you one of these fools who is going to try say for instance that Michael Hogan was an IRA activist and not just a team captain playing a game in 1920?? I urge you step away from the telly and knock off the wind that shakes the barley! You know some of the films are set for dramatic effect!
I won't say all are angels as I am not naive but as I am sure like your family probably think when looking at you most days - there is always a bad apple in everything!!!!
molliec22 You are not naive , then go on to make the ridiclous statement that the GAA is a non religious , non political etc. You either are naive or are a liar if you are unawre of GAA nameing trophies, grounds, events etc after dead IRISH CATHOLIC terror gang membes, also allowing their property to be used for political mettings , commerations , fund . Of course to the casual onlooker the GAA appears squeaky clean , but these things are well documented and factual.
bapfontein what sport do you play?? You obviously do not know anything about the GAA as what you watched there was a sell out and that was just an opener for the league and not an All-Ireland final which I presume you are referring to as the 2 sell outs. You should go to your local GAA club and you will see there is very little politics, religion or the likes of what you wrote about. Like most things in Ireland today (and rightly so) it has multi-national, religious people on the ground
mollie22 That was just a opner for the leauge , now you are being a little untruthfull , yes it was a opner for the leauge , but it was also billed as part of the 125 celbrations , with a major fireworks display , whic attracted many for the celebrations and fireworks. How come their been now sell out of the most recent game in BOGBALL PARK since that event. The simple fact is that GAELIC GAMES would wither and die within a decade or so , if it were not for the Catholic Schools
It is amazing that most people who attended the 125h celebrations at BOGBALL PARK , were more entertained by the fireworks than the Bogball match . What a way to celebrate for the most backward , sectarian, political and religious bunch of bigots on the planet. Not another nation on the planet would touch the GAA with a shity forty foot pole . The GAA is now running scared of games like Rugby , as the game in now allowed to be played in some Catholic schools, once the GAA preserve.
You silly clown, how the hell could could Old Trafford accomadate over eighty thousand when it capacity is only seventy thousand or so. Manchester United if they played seven games in a week at home could fill Old Trafford every time. Bogball park is only full twice a year for BOGBALL and STICKFIGHTING Horrors. Bogballl Park when all seater for Rugby and Football is approx 82 Thousand.
GAA obviously doing a great job on retaining copyright of this ! Still got my own pics and memories of a great game and great celebration - shame they don't want it to be shared by more people!
I am so glad I DVR'ed this game. We watched the game (which was awesome) and then the 125th celebration afterwards and it was insane! Completely smoked our Super Bowl halftime celebration...!! We could take some lessons from who ever put this together in Ireland!
that night unreal,it shows ye that the GAA can put on a great show wen they want
