I'm sure that the camera frame rate making it look like that. That box is definitely not a burp set up, well, not so much that it can't play music. The port on my music playing wall is about as big, and although the build isn't finished, I'm sure I'll have no issues.

Anyway, why put door speakers, especially fancy fiberglassed kinda setups, in a burp car? lol

Burp boxes are boxes meant to play only 1 bass frequency and get high decibel numbers on the Term Lab system. But the thing is that they aren't good for playing music because the port is too large for most frequencies, except the one that plays the loudest (usually anywhere from 55-80Hz)

Your not right. Amplifers have THD and damping factor and it means almost nothing when it comes to actually blowing up subwoofers. These subs broke due the box being tuned inthe the high 50's and thus provides no support at all on low bass. When you play 1/4 octave below a vent tuning it is like you have no enclosure at all. Also almost no voicecoils can actually take a real measured 5KW long term, they just burn up.

No its not bass boost, its a remote gain on the EQ. The reason the subs blew are because he was trying to play music in burp box, and the subs were unloading like crazy.

No he didnt do it on purpose but the subs were unloading like crazy due to being played so far bellow box tuning.  I dont think he metered it before the DDZ's blew but he did a 157.5 w/ Atomic APXX's
