I am not sure yet exactly how many there will be. I would say between 12 and 18. It all depends on how things pan out in terms of inspiration, time etc. I have nine completed so far. I still have two vids to go in the composer series. But I am enjoying the "painting with music" experiment and will probably end up doing at least another four or five.
I must say that someone emailed me that my comment previously was offensive as it was too personal. I do owe them an apology. I do believe you have done a nice job as with all the videos. Plain and simple. Keep up the good work.
Very nice, OGG. you are certainly one talented man. The music you mentioned I have heard more of before. The composer is relatively unknown to me. I would love someday to meet you in person so maybe some of your talent could rub off on me!! Thanks!!
Very beautiful! agree with 'turneresque'. I thought the scene changes coincided well with the music. BUT, my doubts: 1) although the scene changes coincided with the music well, I didn't think that the objects within the scenes moved to well with the music. 2) The colour or 'temperature' of the scence didn't always mix well with the music e.g. 'cold' bits of music were put with warm images. 3) Felt like a screen saver at times. HUGE fan of yours -please keep posting forever!
This is a much shortened version of the one that will ultimately be appearing on a DVD. The full version progresses from cold to warm, from dark to bright, which is what I wanted. But I am glad you enjoy my work.
I'm thrilled you find it "Turneresque". He is one of my favorite painters of all time. The music is an excerpt from "The Age of Enlightenment" from "The Millennium Suite"
Mr OGG - That was absolutely delightful - thank you for going to all the trouble - also - I hope you and Mrs Grumpy have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year - I'll be thinking of you whilst grubbing about for sea coal on Easington beach and enjoying a bowl of porridge.
Quite nice Grumpy... its a shame that your bit rate is a little low (thanks to the restrictions of YouTube). Id love to see it in HD. All the same, your choice in music and visuals are impeccable. Im look forward to see your future works.
this is brilliant, loved it!

Thanks. It's particularly gratifying for me when it is my own music

I know what you mean, because I hear colours when I listen to music, in much the same way that you are showing.... Does that sound silly?
UncleBlakie 2 years ago
No, it doesn't sound silly at all. I'm very pleased by your response.

Very Turneresque with the distortion...and with 'the sun', who is the composer?
