You can only get the screen to come back on from the bottom buttons because it prevents the screen from accidentally coming on when in your pocket. That saves battery life and prevents, for lack of a better term, pocket dialing. So that's not a flaw that's actually good design.

@nstrikefromnerfhaven when its locked you are not suppose to be able to turn it on from the middle of the screen. That is the point in locking it though. That's not a flaw its actually really good design. Its actually done right. On my droid 2 I could get the screen on touching any part of the screen, but it would still be locked. That is bad design because it drains the battery faster as energy needs to be used for the screen to light up. Also, that defeats the purpose of locking the phone.

@theviking08 Theres 9550 ( Storm 2 ) and 9530 . There are a couple of improvements including the bottom buttons , now there capacitive . and the screen is not surepress . it has a mechanical device that everytime yo utouch the screen moves insted of the whole screen moving . The Storm 2 made MAYOR difffrences and improvements . it doesnt lag as much .
