Kind Sir, I owned a 1979 CBX 1000 in 1986, 2010 after owning a string of high powered motorcycles I purchased a Hayabusa 1300, my point is it has taken me 26 years or more to find a motorcycle that is as smooth as the CBX but also one that stays in tune forever in a day like the CBX, well done mate your bike is beautiful, I miss my CBX

Nice bike. I bought a new left over '79 in 1982. The stock tires were a bad joke. The rear was worn out in less than 700 miles with no burnouts. Terrible high speed handling in corners, but one of the best looking bikes ever made. Wish I still had it.

I also have 1976 all original except for the tires and air filter. its such a beautiful bike.

After the '82 GSX1100S Katana, this is the sexiest bike ever built...in my opinion.

this motorcycle has grate value and beauty on the original state as it came from factory, like this one, if you lose your sense and try to ad it some shit, the you just wrecked it. my opinion: is the most beautiful two wheel machine human race ever manufactured

@fernando140887 The stock CBX (1979) version was 105HP the 1980 version was 98HP but greater torque.

I had one of those. Then I changed for the CBR XX, bacause I like to travel a lot and I need more confidence. Apart from that the CBX is a dream of bike, looking down and seeing one cylinder each side, and you know you have 4 more under the tank!! Tha face of the people when they see it coming is funny. The said: " Look at that bike!! Oh m y G o d !! " jajaja. Cheers

i have 2 disagree on ur point bcoz zx14 incorporates ram air intake much more efficenty than zx12 & obiously it has bigger pistons than 12r. but ZX12R JUST LOOKS SO HEAVENLY. :-)
