What kind of mouse are you using?

If it's an Apple mouse, you've probably have not enabled dual mouse buttons in system preferences.

If not, you might need to buy a new mouse.

oh thats good but with pc runescape lags for like a quick moment every minute or so, its like a little delay, its impossible to do one perfect set of firemaking [if you play you know what im talking about i assume you do]. Does the mac mini have that little delay?

It makes it so hard to do jad and nomad etc cause you need to be paying attention 24/7

Yeah... Well I tried RuneScape in the first 3 days that I got it and it was really fast... But now that I've had it longer, the performance decreased a little (Still faster than any windows computer I know though). That extra lag every minute, I had that on my old computer (Windows) but not on my Mac Mini. I also turn off a lot of applications before I play.

No you guys are retarded, runescape runs off Java, and it is internet based mostly. I had my windows laptop (which sucked in general) and it played Runescape with lag because of the computer itself. I now built my own PC and it plays max settings every game, including crappy Runescape. There is still lag because it is running off of the internet, it is not all about the computer.

I tried it on my MacBook 2.0GHz with lowest graphics setting and I get like 10 FPS in ICC10, I'm a druid tank bu when I play as my mage its even worse.

I would say you'd need at least iMac 21.5" with 4GB and 512 MB ATI 4680 to get a good raiding performance.

On PC side I have 2.0 GHz C2D but I have nVidia 9800 with 1GB DDR3 I get like 40 FPS in ICC10 on my mage.

But overall I prefer to use MacBook for instance as it does perform better, I think my ethernet card sucks on my PC.

i have been a mac fanboy for a good 5 years, i used windows befor, and windows 7 is realy good, not as good as osx, but hey.

i have just orderd my first custom pc (buit it my self) and it cost around $1000 AUD, atleast 3x cheeper than the new imacs, and most likley 3x faster. just somthing for you to think about.

NVIDIA has always had the upper hand over ATI in GPUs, that's true.. But AMD had the upper hand for GAMING processors until around early 2008 when Intel started with Intel Core 2 Duo.

And what part of "mid 2008" did you miss? Not early 2009 nor late 2008. It was actually around May.

You said mid 2008.. Core2Duos made their debut early 07'. REAL Core2Duos.. not Pentium D Celerons.. which is Intel's lowest of the low. Those are more like Hyperthreading CPUs, which is the precursor to Core2Duo.

No disrespect, but I think you should either do your homework or stick to buying Macs. You don't seem to know much about PCs, or their components. AMD owned in the days of the Athlon.. they've sucked ever since. (aka many years ago..)

Core Solo came in Jan 2006, Core 2 Solo in Sep 2007, and Core 2 Duo (codename Penryn) in Jan 2008. The processor I have is "Intel Pentium D", not an "Intel Celeron D"; there's no such thing as a "Pentium D Celeron" (and yes, Celeron is the lowest of the lowest of Intel lines of processors, very true xD) And the hot Gaming PC configurations until around late 2007 were AMD Athlon X2 CPUs with NVIDIA 8 Series GPUs >.>

There is a SIGNIFICANTLY big gap between a Mac Mini and a MacPro. If you are not such a hardcore player I'll recommend you a Mac Mini, gets the job done and graphics are pretty good (plus is really cheap). But if you really want good graphics follow the advice given previously, get a new iMac, a Mac Pro is a HUGE inversion just to play games :)

Macs run given their specs, but it's their superior OS that makes them capable of doing so.

I really don't have anything against Macs aside from the fact that, I personally, can build something 5-10x faster (around a WIndows platform) for 2-5x less.

Mac = great OS, horribly priced. And they're NOT immune to viruses or hardware failure. I've seen it with my own eyes. :)

Well, I dabble in a bit of each, but none of it really influences this. It's more that I am just a mac fanatic! I love to play WoW though, and have found that overall WoW tends to play slightly better on Macs. I could get the new Mac Pro, but it will come at a sacrifice. I have a new iMac, and 15" pro... and I will most likely have to give up one, or both. (Cause I have one of those super-cheap little windows laptops.. like $260 ones. lol)
