I love this idea and being a carpenter not a science guy I can see what you are getting at. Even if this is not a prepetual motion machine it looks to have the potential to create more energy than it uses to rotate even under load. This rocks please keep more coming. A motor made of only permenant motor does not brake the law of conservation of energy. Note that permenent magnets are stored form of energy. It takes eneergy to create these magnets. and eventually they lose their magnetic power and then you will need to recreate them which takes energy. Hence it should be possible to create a motor of only permenent magnet.

It will never be a perpetual moton bcoz magents will stop being magentic after few months/years.

sorova, physics doesn't matter here. Remember, perpetua mobile belong to the spiritual belief system of the modern, uneducated human being. Hence not the result rules, but the deep and strong belief. The more people believe dW=F·ds were wrong, the longer they will waste millions of work-hours and greedy investors will spend billions of US$. So we can buy fossile fuels for longer instead of using really free energy like solar-, geothermal-, or wind-energy.

bccritters, I don't think. The coo coo clock mechanism takes it's energy from a loaded spring. Hence you have to spend energy to load it. However, if he added just a bit weapons-grade naquadah, then the machine would run - forever.

I thought about this before homersparents, but I don't know if the actuation of the lever will interfere rotation of the main drive since magnets are used for both. What I mean is, the stator magnet would have to have an advantage over the actuator magnet, otherwise it would stall. Who knows...

Dumped video 3 for now. Comments received about gears being too sloppy, generator to power mechanics to actuate the stator too inefficient, etc., all valid. Working on a cam assembly for the 3rd installment. Stay tuned!

Thank you very much for sharing, great design. I tried using a vertical rotor (pinion) timed with a toothed belt to drive the big rotor but your rocking lever is beautiful. Please do some more videos later on.

See Bedini's superpole magnet arrangement. Take two bar magnets and glue like poles together, ie facing each other. The flux sprays out in a very narrow beam.
