Well cut. Pretty depressing though, the Rebellion is annihilated, Princess Leia executed by lightsaber! That's ill!! So, Luke would have eventually fallen off the metal relay underneath Cloud City, and whatever remained of the rebels would have been wiped out. Pretty depressing, but cool the way you re-cut it.

yavin is the name of the star. it's like calling Earth Sol 3. Sol 4 is Venus, Sol 5 is Jupiter, etc. It's for star systems that don't have specific named planets.

correction, the planet yavin is the gas giant yavin that the moons orbit around, 1,2,3,4 must just be its moons. Proof of this was when they said "we have approached the planet Yavin, the base is on the far side" If it was the star, it would be the yavin system.
